Thomas stopped in his tracks as he heard his name before turning towards the source of the call. He'd never considered himself a particularly memorable person, which is why it surprised him when he saw someone he didn't recognize right off the bat. People didn't tend to call his name unless they had business with him. He was pretty sure there weren't many people that knew he was the head of the newspaper club. Not like he advertised it, but still. The fact that what was almost a stranger called out to him made him suspicious. The girl was vaguely familiar. The crutches seemed like they would leave an impact. He was sure he'd seen her somewhere before, although not particularly closely, as far as he could remember. And Thomas could never remember much about others outside of his personal circle of friends.
