could also do arrowheads fairly cheap comparatively, especially since they are one use they could just be layered in a leafing. though for close quarters it would have to be recurve or a crossbow in which case it would be the tips of the bolts.

My character is using a spear, a damn large one. So even though he's very used to it this assignment could be interesting for him.

*ssshhh, whispers* "Call in the 'dozers. I need this battlefield to be prepared for my fighting style!"
*whispers back* "Why don't we directly plate the 'dozers with valdium and get them blessed ? Wouldn't that be a massive shortcut ?

Maybe if there's an overwhelming amount of volley fire. For a smaller team though, good luck hitting a Vampire with a crossbow or bow.

@POOHEAD189 ah, I see. to be honest I just put the idea out there not knowing what their full ability is. thoigh this should actually help with writing my character because he doesn't know much about them either.

Well... they don't have a rogue's uncanny dodge... so you can catch them flat footed. :P

But you forgot about your gnomes! They can turn a bunch of silver arrows or bullets into one hell of a trap!

Actually... do Vampires in this universe have that trait where they can't enter an owned residence without an invitation or harmed by running water?

Well, usually I'd say find out IC but running water is abhorrent to them. Doesn't mean it hurts. Invitations is not a thing here though. Or even if it is...how hard is it to be invited if the manservant opening the door is temporarily under the Vamp's control?
