I want to start an RP where we are the members of a resistance cell, but don't know what universe to set it in.

Ideas:
Star Wars: We are defending our world against either the Seps or Republic during the clone wars.
Star Wars: A rebel cell during the Empire.
Earth/Starwars crossover:  [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqOuHunl-nk]Maybe this backstory[/url] or one of Generation Tech's.  Earth was in the SW Unknown regions and they found us.  Someone is conquering Earth (Seps or  Empire) and we are a resistance group.  Some of us may be a Pheonix, a person that was force sensitive and studied enough of the force documents that got linked to the Internet and darknet to be able to use it in one form or another.
Earth: Aliens invaded and we are the resistance.
Star Trek: Bajorans during the occupation.
