Perhaps trying to writing interesting collaborative contests and battles would be more beneficial to the section than these “Dante vs Sephiroth”-esque matchups that you mention. Arena-style RPs can be imaginative, fun, and dynamic but it seems from the pages upon pages of them that I [i]have[/i] [u]read[/u] [I am not an outsider who is presuming nor have inexperience with similar forums on other sites] that it is a forum that prides itself on “winning” in the same way some Nation RPs seek to play a flawed and shallow variation of RISK. As a community and audience you should want to inspire people to write, even in a competitive nature, in a thread that actually energizes and immerses them.

Also, perhaps if your regular users did not run into things with emotional insults and some decorum the illicit reputation would get better.
