Don't worry, above was not some passive-aggressive dig at you or anyone else, just a convoy w meself for a chuckle. Thus far in the books both angels and demons, and actually full on dragons of eastern or western origin, are completely nonexistent. My guess is because those are both stupidly powerful and really intelligent and most othersiders in the book needed to be feasably vulnerable to combined weapons fire and magical attacks. Even a Drakken, the non flying/fire breathing stand in for dragons, can be killed by a team of elite Hunters or really major firepower. I'd be a little reluctant to work in the angels or demons until I knew more when the 3rd book publishes. Besides, the Folk have center stage right now as the most intelligent magically gifted mysterious masters of whatever the othersiders are actually doing back in their world. Folk are beautiful as well as deadly and have both psychic and crazy magic powers, something humans just can't do. I think the Folk are based off elves but I get the impression they were designed to stand in place of angels, demons, or dragons in terms of smarts and power but still be killable by a number of Hunters.
