NPC: Hayate Sasaki - Uchima Senior High School Gates, Saturday Morning

"Yeah, guess you ain't the type," he said after a second, shooting a measured glance at the newly-arrived duo. "Kid sure doesn't look like he knows you or about your singing."

The drama club member frowned for a moment, staring at the aforementioned Alexander a little more closely. "Yo," interjected the young man of the Sasaki family, "you're not lookin' too good there; you need to go to the nurse's?"

NPC: Pacing Boy - Uchima Hallways, Saturday Morning

Initially, the boy Etsu approached did not seem to respond to the query, instead appearing to be rather lost in his own little world. However, the moment his steps nearly took him into Etsu's path, he stopped, eyes gaining a faint clarity as he noticed her presence.

"Faculty office?" He repeated, as if the words were not real to him. "It's on the second floor. Closest room to the stairs. Look for the sign."

His last phrase seemed gruffer than necessary.

"If you'd excuse me," he added, voice now seemingly drifting. "I have something to deal with."

He stepped past Etsu, rapidly disappearing around a corner.

The light entering through the windows was warm.

Saturdays at McDonalds was the best day of the week. No school before his shift, so Daisuke could put all of his energy to work. Lots of customers, which meant a busy shift, and the most employees calling out sick of any day which meant the most chances to pick up overtime. At least, as much as he legally could. Working at sixteen made things harder. But even on Saturdays, it could get better if you had the opening shift. Start early in the morning, get your six or seven hour shift done, be out by midmorning. If you didn’t pick up that overtime.

Today Daisuke had no intention of picking it up.

Slinging burgers and fries for all the regulars was pretty fun, but today he should have been one of the people calling out sick. Getting roughed up by a bunch of pizza bots may not have been a believable excuse, but a series of stab wounds and general bruises and lacerations certainly was. He felt like he was held together with Band-Aids and Tylenol. Which wasn’t entirely wrong, but it didn’t change the fact that he really needed to work. Daisuke had gone out of his way to ask for more hours, he couldn’t be seen failing to take ‘em.

That was the really fucking weird thing, though. Yesterday, on the way home from school, he got into a fight with possess pizza delivery robots. It was completely true, but that didn’t make the concept sound any less weirder. It was like there was a spot where something weird was believable in theory, fighting vampires or something, and then one where something was so goddamn weird that it stopped being believable even though it actually happened. He fought sixty plus robots alongside his best friend and a guitar girl (apparently named Hitomi) using a manifested personification of himself and a signpost.

He was kinda numb to it, honestly.

It happened. He kinda felt like shit because of it, and he wasn’t really sure what he was supposed to do now, but it happened. It happening didn’t mean he was off from work. And honestly the normalcy helped ground Daisuke’s head. There was something therapeutic about the utterly normal routine of taking orders and prepping food.

Besides, Kimiko-chan was here. He noted the girls arrival right off the bat, even though he wasn’t manning the counter to take her order. A quick glance at the clock told him his shift was almost up, so he watched Hitomi arrive in focused silence and focused on wrapping up his work. Meeting all the pending orders, cleaning up his workstation, and tapping his manager to let her know he was clocking out. Within a few minutes, as the hour rolled over, he had clocked out and changed back into his street clothes.

He sank into a seat next to Kimiko and Hitomi without a word, rolling his shoulders and popping his scheduled dose of Tylenol with a gulp from his water bottle. Once he was done he finally gave both girls a small wave.

“Morning, girls.”

Kimiko Maita

@Crimmy@Savo

The others continued to talk, as if they were trying their hardest to interrupt Kimiko's solitude. Evidently, figuring out this refrain would have to wait. She turned back towards Alex as he butchered her very simple name. "Mai-TA," she corrected, emphasizing the second syllable. "Maita Kimiko, Class 3-B, if you were unaware. Alexander sounds like a rather odd surname, but I suppose I do not know what to expect from Western names."

Ignoring the melodramatic display of pain that her unintentional companion displayed, she turned her attention back to her classmate. "Might I help you with something, Sasaki-san?" she replied sweetly with a smile. It was an odd change of tone for her, since she normally spoke in an abrupt and brusque manner. The very few who knew her well knew that the sweet tone was a warning sign, Kimiko's last attempt to bury her annoyances. Those who knew her less well would think it was a somewhat professional face she put on for her shrine customers. In either case, the intent was fairly clear: get to the point.

"Heyo, man meat. You're looking pretty criss cross applesauce. All tenderized. Harachachacha."

A Daisukegg-and-cheese McMuffin would probably totally turn her off of McGriddles. She'd have to give it a tri. She'd have to be trycurious.

Like Bowie or Prince.

Speaking of, holy crap, Prince was dead. What a killer year already. Kimiko had her bets on a Beatle next; she'd long since learned to stop bleeding away any cosmic currency she had on betting on one of those speedball-pickled chavs from the Rolling Stones to shuffle off the farm to the great Muddy Waters concert in the skies.

Prince, though, man.

Kimiko hoped there wasn't gonna be a succession crisis before she was old enough to claim his throne.

Whichever throne Prince sat on, anyway...

"Thanks, Hitomi," Kimiko said casually through a bite of McGriddle, before she pulled the food away from her mouth and waved the breakfast sandwich at the guy ogling them. "Heyo guy. You some kinda Warhol or something? Cause ya sure are eying me and Hitomi's cans."

There was no accusation in the tone at all. It just sounded like she was waiting for a chance to use the line all her life and had finally found the perfect opportunity.

"Faculty office? It's on the second floor. Closest room to the stairs. Look for the sign. If you'd excuse me, I have something to deal with."

"Um... thank you, I guess," Etsu replied, watching the boy head around the corner before wondering something about him, 'Isn't he supposed to be in class or something?'

Shrugging it off, she followed the boy's instructions, heading up the stairs and examining the first room she found. Sure enough, the tip paid off and Etsu was right outside the faculty office that she was looking for this whole time. She looked at her watch one last time, before finally knocking on the door to see if anyone was there to let her inside.

"I hope I'm not too early for this," Etsu muttered to herself, "...or god forbid late."

Hitomi Happily bounced when Daisuke entered the booth to join Commander and herself. She happily nodded along to Commander thanking her for the McGriddles while she snagged another fry, once more a near-silent caw pushing its way out of her lips. This time, it may’ve been a bit closer to a coo of a pigeon rather than a warning cry from a hawk. Regardless, Hitomi was starting to really like having friends. She didn’t usually spend Saturday mornings together with others sitting in a booth in McDonalds. It even appeared as though someone else was eying Commander and herself.

Though, most likely Commander. Hitomi accepted the fact that she could pass off as the moe one of the group. It was known and further discussion on the matter was unneeded. But if anyone ever had to seduce a guard while snatching his keycard from his lapel while dressing up as some kind of fiery hot tamale…

Well, that’d probably be Daisuke actually. He was quite a winner in the genetic lottery. The young girl considered going up to ask for a fruit smoothie, but it was Commander’s words that pulled her thoughts away from the notion.

"Heyo guy. You some kinda Warhol or something? Cause ya sure are eying me and Hitomi's cans."

How strange… Did Commander forget that the food drive was last week?” Hitomi wondered aloud for a brief moment flicking a fry down her small mouth.

Daisuke, you should come by the Holy Grounds some time! I think you’d like the mellow atmosphere quite a bit!” Hitomi happily chirped, deciding to let Warhol-Chan answer for himself. She silently prayed for Andy-Sama. Not many could past the test that was Commander’s insinuations. In fact, Hitomi still wasn’t even sure if she had passed them herself. But given the fact that she was now resting her head on Commander’s shoulder and munching on one of her fries, it was most likely a given at this point.

Kazou - McDonald's

Kazou stared blankly ahead at the two girls in the booth as his order was being prepared, mostly the black haired one. Her behavior was so odd, almost as if she was a child who didn't realize she was in public. Along with her unbreakably happy demeanor even in the face of pain, she made bird noises as she ate. How did someone like her even have a friend?

And the other girl was fairly attractive, in a generic sense. Not that he should bother thinking of her like that; she'd never bother with a look in his direction, even the black-haired girl would just consider him some nobody. If she even knew what romance was; unlikely considering her imuto-like demeanor.

Another person joined the two, a really good looking man Kazou felt like he had seen really recently. Searching his mind, Kazou remembered seeing a glimpse of him in the back, preparing an order at some point. That was awhile ago though. He must've been a hard worker, or stuck here to help pay the bills. Ah well, it didn't matter, his food was here and-

"Heyo guy. You some kinda Warhol or something? Cause ya sure are eying me and Hitomi's cans."

Kazou cringed. Oh god, he was totally staring at them. Facing towards them, the ginger woman was who was accosting him, obviously the Imuto wouldn't speak in such a bizarrely crude manner. He couldn't even tell what she meant frankly; He had never heard of a Warhol, and their soft drinks were in cups, not cans. The imuto shot down the idea of those American tin cans so...

Oh. She was just making fun of him. Why did he assume she wanted an actual conversation?

"Hah, nah I was just uh," Kazou began awkwardly, attempting to deflect the situation. "Your friend there, she got a pretty bad nose bleed. I mean, who wouldn't these days right? I mean, midterms are coming up soon and all. Even beyond that some people have rough home lives or have part time jobs," Kazou said, motioning to the man that had joined the ladies at the booth. "I mean you might even need to to support your family with the cash! And with these disappearances and all, I'd be worried for my life too! No wonder she got a nosebleed! Hahaha!" Kazou laughed, hating himself more with every word he spoke.

Kazou attempted some sort of smile even though he wished for death. These people thought he was insane, clearly. Even the bird-girl probably thought he was some sort of creeper rightfully so. Kazou began to grab up his hashbrowns. He ordered to-go, thank god, so he could leave the restaurant as soon as possible. That was fucking horrendous. No wonder everyone ignored him, he was some bumbling fucking idiot who didn't deserve friends. Kazou got his stuff and got out of his seat. He was returning home to eat his breakfast now, even if his stomach growled at him to put some processed potato in his stomach.

NPC: Iemasa Igarashi - Faculty Office, Saturday Morning

"Coming!"

Sliding open the door to the faculty office was Iemasa Igarashi, twenty-five years old and currently committed to a long-distance relationship with his girlfriend in Hokkaido. A blue ballpoint pen dangled loosely between the fingers of his right hand, while the other hand was brushing back a few strands for ruffled blonde hair from his forehead. It seemed as if he had been in the middle of some work, but the very moment he sighted Etsu, the sparkling cerulean of his eyes had immediately lightened up, and an easy-going grin found its way to his handsome face.

"Oh, good morning!" he said in greeting, voice bright and happy. "I haven't seen you around before."

He adjusted his round-rimmed glasses slightly, shooting a quick glance down at Etsu's outfit. It was patently obvious that the youthful history teacher was in fact quite curious to where the girl had originated from. He prided himself on being a pretty amicable guy who had spent a lotta time on getting to know all his beloved students (even those who weren't in his classes), but the teenager standing in front of him was somebody he'd never seen before.

"Are you-" He suddenly glanced down at his watch. "Ah! Are you the transfer?"

Iemasa looked back up at Etsu with a dazzling smile. Given the time, that was the conclusion he had come to.

Meanwhile, the other teachers in the faculty office were already returning to their own business, satisfied that Igarashi was already dealing with the situation. That was probably the reason why they put his desk so close to the door; he was the people person.

NPC: Audiovisual Clubroom, Saturday Morning

There was a knock on the door to the AV room. A second later, it slid open, and a teenage boy popped his head in. Cropped black hair, fringe still tinted by fading green highlights, hung over warm brown eyes that were scanning the room. However, that action immediately halted as he noticed the attention directed his way by the club members. A light flush of red emerged on his cheeks. He was feeling too much like a deer in the headlights.

"Oh, uh, hey," he said lamely in greeting, stepping through the door fully. He was a short figure, standing at a height of a metre fifty-two. "I'm from the Drama Club, and we were just, uh, wondering if you could, yaknow-"

The last word was punctuated by an awkward flap of his hands. It was pretty clear he was stumbling over what he wanted to say.

"I mean," he said, trying to reorient the conversation. "Could you guys like, spare a dude for us to do some recording stuff? We wanna do some practice, and yaknow, it'd be-"

Another gesture.

"-a real help?"

The Audiovisual Club's president stared at him, the gears ticking in her brain as she tried to comprehend his request. A few seconds later, she slowly turned around on her seat to gaze over at the back of the room, where Tsubaki was still tinkering on the projector.

"Hey, Matsushida," she called. "You look like you're not too busy. Can you go over to Drama with this kid?"

Yuuhei Seiho

Saturday Morning - Newspaper Club Room

THUNK

Yuuhei’s dart, which definitely didn’t exist if a Disciplinary Committee member asked, struck the map of Shikatsu with an ever gratifying noise. Specifically, it had hit the site of the rumored robot invasion, which had completely consumed the president’s attention since he had heard about it. So much so that he had gotten up early, making him the first to show up to the room that was unusually quiet for a change. But that silence was disturbed by the sound of his footsteps as he approached the map to get a closer look, his face scrunched up in concentration.

From a logical standpoint – well ok, maybe that was a bad term for this as there was nothing all that logical about rampant battle bots but still – Yuuhei couldn’t make heads or tails out of what they could have been after. To the best of his knowledge, none of the buildings within the vicinity held anything or anyone of significant value, not to mention there didn’t seem to be any routes that would let an entire battalion of robots just disappear into a puff of smoke like they had. All things considered, it sounded like a story that Yuuhei generally would have written off as another strange rumor for the strange town, but there was something about this one that prevented him from doing just that.

After all, he had seen the messy aftermath. And what’s more, he had heard that someone had spotted a student from Uchima High slinking away from the scene.

He wrapped a hand around the dart and gingerly tugged on it, the cork board under the map putting up a fair amount of resistance, until it came out with a small pop. All things considered, there were a number of oddballs at his school that he could easily picture getting mixed up in such an event. The dart was twirled between his fingers as he went through a mental list of suspects, pacing the room with one of his rare serious looks. It would be a lot of ground to cover on his own to question so many students, as he was certain that his subordinates would have little interest in pursuing the story without more facts to go on, but he couldn’t really think of any alternatives as he had already interviewed those in the immediate area of the incident.

Yuuhei came to an abrupt stop in his pacing and slapped his cheeks lightly, a look of determination taking over his expression. It wasn’t like him to get so caught up in the hurdles in front of him when there was an interesting story to be uncovered. So with a spring back in his step, Yuuhei started to make his way to the door. The rest of the Newspaper Club would have their hands full with the usual trivial articles that came with the start of every school year, so now was the time to escape before someone else showed up and put him to work. He reached for the door, his excitement mounting…

… only for the door to slide open to reveal one Saika Oshino, his dutiful vice president, on the other side. “Prez, surely you aren’t planning on abandoning your subordinates on such a busy day, right?” the dark haired girl asked innocently, but Yuuhei knew from experience, too many in fact, that behind those eyes was an entire world of hurt ready to be unleashed.

”I… er… you see…” he sheepishly stuttered, hands waving every which way, as if that was helping, before he gave up with a sigh of defeat. ”That had been the idea, yes.”

And with that, the expression on the younger girl became downright threatening as she nonchalantly brushed past Yuuhei, grabbing him by the ear on her way, and stomped into the room. “Not this time. Now get to work.”

Tsubaki looked up from her project at the club President, slowly shifting her gaze from her to the awkward boy in the doorway. With a nearly imperceptible nod, she carefully transferred the projector from her lap to the table and stood up, brushing herself off and moving across the room toward the door.

As she passed the president, she paused momentarily and motioned over to the abandoned projector again. "I need to take it home to finish repairs anyway." She stated in her quiet, breathy voice. "I'll stop by later to pick it up, and return it in the morning."

Opening a closet by the door, Tsubaki retrieved one of the school's better cameras and a tripod to mount it on. Also picking up her bag with her laptop inside, she silently motioned for the boy to move out of the way and lead her.

NPC: Audiovisual Clubroom -> Hallway, Saturday Morning

"Yeah yeah, go ahead," was the club president's somewhat offhanded reply. "If none of us are around, lock up, would you?"

With that conversation over, the older girl returned to her own work, and Tsubaki was free to grab all the equipment she deemed necessary for helping out with the Drama Club. The silence, however, was admittedly rather awkward for the other club's messenger to deal with, as by the time Tsubaki met him at the door, he was slightly fidgety, hands pocketed and eyes downcast to count the number of lines in the wooden floor. And thus it was with some surprise that he realised that the teenaged girl he had managed to recruit was actually gesturing to him.

"Ah, just uh, follow me," he said, stepping out of the way as she had silently asked with a clear expression of relief on his face. The silence had been beginning to get to him, and he had also been worrying that he wouldn't have been able to fulfil the request of his slightly-controlling leader. "You're ... Matsushida-san ... right? It's nice to meet you."

"It does sound like something from a bad anime doesnt it?" Kagami agreed she didn't fully understand what the coach was after but he understood what he was doing but in the long run the coach knew what he was doing. "Stamina training he calls it." Kagami said recalling the words the coach told her when he asked. "So what's the big play your doing this time Hanazawa Sempai?" Kagami asked generally curious on what they were doing for a play. She didn't really remember the last play they did probably was during one her tournament matches probably since most of the time she took time to watch the plays.

In his absent minded musing Ryoma was brought back to reality by the sounds of a voice belonging to the person Ryoma didn't expect to hear in this location. Ryoma turned his focus to the voice. It was who he thought it was, Jin. The former captain of the archery club. The one person who's aim with a bow surpasses his own, if only by a margin. Jin is also a person surrounded by ill informed rumors; Ryoma wasn't so sure if any of them were true or not, since Ryoma doesn't know much about them besides them moving from the states and they had one hell of a good aim.

Ryoma shifted his stance somewhat, making him look more rigid and tense then the moment before, he didn't know what to say, he wasn't expecting anybody for awhile, he hasn't mentally prepared himself for this encounter. This could go horrible if he doesn't choose his words carefully with this interaction. Even if the rumors surrounding Jin are wrong they still carry an air of ... independence.

But yet they still called him sempai, Ryoma should call him Kouhai, he knew that, but he didn't feel like calling him that, but their skills was better then his and Jin was the captain of the archery club before, so it would be strange to call them that in this setting. They might consider that condescending. And he doesn't need any enemies.

"Greetings, Jin-San." Ryoma responded formally, this was his most composed manner of speaking, if this was a more casual exchange that would cause trouble. "Sure." Ryoma said, he felt like he should say more, but he might stumble over his words like a fat baby deer. Ryoma watched Jin get prepared and then quickly aim and shoot, nearly getting a bull eye's, most people, even other club members would consider that a perfect shot. But to Ryoma and by the sound of the former captain's muttering proved that it could've been better. It was off by 4mm. Ryoma previous shot was off only by 0.9mm. But the two in the archery field knew Jin could do better, not like Ryoma would ever say that out loud. But they're out of practice, and admittedly it was still better aim then the rest of the club, and if they're meaning to return to the club they could easily surpass him soon enough with practice.

"Good shot, Jin-San." Ryoma responded genuinely. "Especially for being r-rusty." Ryoma praised Jin slightly as he tried to make sure of himself not to sound coddling or superior to them. "I-I almost beat your record from last year." Ryoma admitted, he wasn't sure why he admitted that but he felt like he needed to say it. "I plan to beat it before the end of the year... I-I hope you don't mind." Ryoma politely asked the ex-captain. While they quit the role, Ryoma was there when they were captain, impressive for a first year so Ryoma respects the underclassmen like a Sempai himself. But that's all too embarrassing to admit he barely knew Jin as a person.

Hopefully, he won't say anything awkward or sappy when Jin's here. He would literally die if he did.

Jin stared at Ryoma for a long moment, before flashing the upperclassman a small, but genuine smile. "I don't mind at all. Smash my record. Make people forget my name was ever there." Far from being bothered, they seemed excited about the prospect. "Maybe they'll stop begging me to rejoin the team." With that, Jin set another arrow and let fly, the second one nestling close enough to the first to make them both shudder with force. "Wish I could just do this by myself." Jin set down the bow and then removed the gauken jacket, revealing a black tee shirt with an odd logo. Then they stretched high, causing a nasty series of pops from their slender shoulders. "Tch... ouch. No wonder I can't shoot. I should have warmed up first."

Loosened up, Jin took up the bow again, but this time simply looked the weapon over, dark eyes looking over every centimeter of string and every knot. Then the same with the arrows, investigating each with a critical eye before discarding it or putting it in the quiver on their back. "Did you hear about that robot nonsense down town? I don't know what people are freaking out about. It's probably just some viral movie promo or something. At least it will give them something to bitch and gossip about besides me..." With a sharp little sigh, Jin's gaze sharpened on the empty target. They shot, one after the next, arrows flying into the target with a sniper's precision. When the quiver was empty, a symbol stood out from the slightly vibrating target.

"I have great faith that you'll surpass me, Ryoma-sempai. I'll come applaud you the day that you do."

NPC: Ai Hanazawa - Uchima Senior High Kendo Clubroom, Saturday Morning

The older girl giggled. "It sounds weird to me, right? But if your Coach says it works, keep going 'kay?"

She certainly wasn't somebody familiar with how kendo training was supposed to go. Maybe she'd need to do some more research if she wanted to write it in a more believable way. Her characters deserved to act out their roles in a world that was realistic and with verisimilitude. She needed to make sure of that.

"Well," she mused, back of her pen tapping against her chin in thought, "we don't really have one settled yet, but ..."

It was hard to decide, which was why they'd ended up cancelling the previous day's meeting in favour of some short entertainment, and she wasn't sure if she could get a good script for any of the chosen performances. That was why she was trying to break down that block in her way. Her eyes watched the kendoka train, gaze intensely focused on their every motion, the sweat glistening against the skin, the flowing of their gi. She needed to make it feel real.

"... Hey," the girl said after a while, placing her pen down and glancing over at Kagami. "Why not come watch one of our practices and help out? You're taking a break right? It won't be too long!"

There was a note of excitement in her tone, as if she'd gotten a good idea she just had to pursue. If she and the others were still having difficulty picking, maybe some outside input could help.

Alexander Furst

@Crimmy@JBRam2002

"Hmm?"

What? Was he pale or was this guy trying to screw with him? Alex just gave the guy a hard-pressed stare, cracking a frown in his direction as he skulked forward, seemingly dropping a few centimeters. "... I'm fine, it's just a fleeting headache, it'll pass soon enough," Alex shot back with a rather harsh, frigid tone. Scratching the side of his face, Alex decided to glance away for a few seconds, recalling the swathes of irritating blue.

Why did orange have to be complementary to it? "But still, singing? That's her?" Alex pondered back to when he was going around the different venues of the suburb and recalled the shrine he seldom would go around. Alex tilted his head back, as if sneaking a peek like one of those perverted protagonists in a hot-springs episode before aiming it the adjacent way; unlike those fools, he had no intentions of getting questioned over that, especially something as meager as that.

Though when he did catch wind of Maita's different enunciation of words, he did wince a little, though like hell he was going to show it to these two. His visage fluctuated for about two seconds before returning to that stony, unmovable object people could call a face... though he did have some doubts that she was screwing with him... and thoughts over if Maita was sincere, what if he had been pronouncing other peoples names wrong?

Alex bent his head to address the girl on the issue. "Gotcha Maita-san," he said, obviously taking her advice as he did give a finer articulation of her name. "Also, Alexander isn't my surname - it's Furst." Glad to infer that he didn't completely screw up names when it came to things here. Displaying a frown, he was more than tempted to turn his head away and completely disregard the facet that they ignored his question, but that tone of voice.

The slits of his eyes became just as sharp as it was to the teen. As he trudged along, he stayed eerily quiet after that, making a quick diagnosis of this whole situation.

This shrine maiden, Kimiko, wanted something and Alex did not like it one lick... would she try to jump off her target and attempt to latch onto him? Nuh uh, nooooooo, Alex wasn't going to let her pull a stunt like this on him. So he just watched... that way, he would know something else, besides what she would order at the Sacred Grounds.

NPC: Hayate Sasaki - Uchima Senior High School Gates, Saturday Morning

"Whatever you say, kid," responded the older boy with a shrug, before shoving his hands back into his pockets once more. "And what, can't I just say hi?"

If Sasaki had noticed the sudden sweetness in Kimiko's tone, there was no sign that he felt that it was important enough to care about. Instead, he was merely watching his duo of fellow students in a relaxed and casual manner, hazel orbs darting from one to the other. However, a thought seemed to come to his mind, and a somewhat ponderous (and slightly irritated) expression found its way to his face.

"Though, guess the Drama Club's tryin' to grab some dudes," he mused in his beautifully powerful voice, hands leaving his pockets so that he could cross his arms. "They still got trouble with the performance. Want inspiration or whatever. Yamamoto's been bustin' my balls real hard today to help out, so you wanna tag along?"

Sure enough, Etsu was let inside by one of the teachers who, judging by the pen in his hand, was likely dealing with paperwork at the time. This one seemed significantly younger than what Etsu was expecting, and he certainly looked handsome. Perhaps a little too handsome. Etsu couldn't help but blush when she first saw him, but now that she thought about it, the young man was probably out of her league.

"Oh, good morning!" he said in greeting, his voice oddly bright and enthusiastic, "I haven't seen you around before."

"Well... you see, I uh..." the loss of words that Etsu had was about as clear as day. Part of that was that there was no denying the man's handsomeness regardless, and part of that was that she felt embarrassed having to transfer in the first place. Third year transfer students were a rarity after all, so the fear of being singled out was a big fear she had.

"Ah! Are you the transfer?" this seemed to snap Etsu back into reality.

"Oh! Yes, I'm the new, er... transfer... student," she shuddered at the sound of those two words coming out of her mouth together, "My name is Izumo Etsu, and I came down all the way from Fukushima to be here. It's nice to meet you."

Etsu smiled briefly to match the young teacher's smile, but this quickly faded as she got lost in his eyes, and she blushed more heavily than before. She broke eye contact with him without realizing that she'd done so, and sunk her head a little.

'Why do I have these feelings for him all of a sudden?' Etsu thought, 'There must be more deserving girls for him than me, surely,'

"Nice to meetcha, Izumo-kun," said the youthful teacher warmly, smile brightening upon confirmation that she was indeed the transfer mentioned in yesterday's staff meeting. He was right on the money there. That was pretty awesome. "Welcome to Uchima! Hope you can enjoy it here."

Even if Etsu wouldn't be in any of the classes he took, it was still good to get to know the students around campus. He didn't know for sure if the administrative staff would allocate her to one of his cohorts, but she wasn't going to be in his homeroom. The meeting had mentioned she was a third-year, after all. Hopefully that wouldn't be too much of an obstacle for her to settle in, but if it was, he'd definitely try and help out. She was already looking a bit shy and awkward already, with the reddening face, so he wanted to make sure it didn't affect her too much.

"You got most of the admin and paperwork sorted, right?" he asked warmly, relishing the last word on the tip of his tongue. "No problems there?"

Ryoma tensed up at Jin's stare. Did they not wish to hear that? But suddenly Jin expression changed into a small yet genuine smile before they said he would be more then glad for their name to be forgotten, Ryoma could hear a hint of excitement in their voice. Ryoma shoulders and expression loosen up and he let out the tiniest of sigh and let out a small smiled, it was mostly he was relieved but also happy to get their approval. Ryoma silently vowed to work even harder to surpass Jin. But he decided to respond to Jin, "That's good to hear, I think I'm close to beating you I was only a few points behind you last time." Ryoma admitted.

Jin before shooting several more arrows into the target removed their jacket revealing a shirt with a symbol of a hand holding some kind of tool. Ryoma had to admire Jin's focus and form, his admiration of their archery skills almost made him miss what they were talking about. About the robots yesterday with servual vulgarity sprinkled in, his parents would have his head if he spoke so crassly. He was jealous he couldn't speak as causally as Jin can. "Y-yeah, Even I heard about that, and people don't go out of their way to tell me anything." Ryoma spoke honestly. He didn't have any friends in his class, he only had tentative friends in the archery club but even then it's more of an obligation then true friendship. Who wants to be friends with the person will so many ill rumors surrounding them and with an intimidating form? "Yeah, I can agree to that, at least I won't hear rumors all day on Monday like usual wehn I walk in the class." Ryoma admitted.

Ryoma admired Jin's archery skills as he looked at their work. It made him want to do better. But Ryoma wasn't expecting to hear what Jin would say next. Jin had faith in him to surpass them. He wasn't used to being cheered for. But he liked it. Ryoma expression turned sheepish for a moment as he collected his scattered thoughts and words before he composed himself to speak. "Thank you, Jin-san, I-I won't disappoint you, even if the last thing I do in this school." Ryoma said in his composed voice which shook ever still. But it's nice to speak to somebody who isn't intimidated by him.

Ryoma walked up to the starting location and lifted up his bow and pulled out an arrow, he readied the arrow and pull at the string while looking at the target with such intensity that his previous timid nature melted away. Ryoma let loose of the string and the arrow flew straight and true. It hit close to the center. Nearly the same points as the arrow he shot before taking his break, it would seem impressive after their conversation but his consistency is getting better. Ryoma relaxed and looked at Jin with a rare casual expression.

"I can't wait for the day to surpass you."

"Yah im keeping it up." Kagami said the coach knew what he was talking about after all he was the one in charge of the club after all. Looking out she watched the practices wishing she could at least be doing a spar but the coach said she could gain more experience like this right now. "Sure if its real quick I can go know just let me slip my bokken into its sleeve" Kagami said as she untied the armor and placed it neatly in a pile against the wall. Grabbing the now wrapped bokken she turned back to Hanazawa "ready when you are" She said seeing the coach in the distance nod with a small smile on his lips.
