IMPORTANT: You aren't required to have played Titanfall to be able to join. All you need to know is that it's a (somewhat military) Mech RP with some extras. So basicly what I want is a Titanfall RP. I was thinking either a tournament of some kind or a battle between 2 main sides, divided under a total of the 6 original factions. Feel free to tell me any Titanfall roleplay ideas you have!
Titanfall is a game about Pilots and Titans (big Mechs with advanced AI) who wage war against eachother for multiple reasons. Even though a heavy focus is on the Titans, the Pilots aren't defenseless either: They have multiple strong weapons, a jump kit which allows double jumping, wallrunning and stuff alike, along with gadgets and especially their training to be able to keep up with hostile titans. The main premise is about two groups, the IMC and the Frontier Militia, fighting for the Frontier, a part of newly discovered space. The Militia want to build new homes there, while the IMC wants to gain a profit from the new things that they can discover.

If factions are gonna be a thing in the RP, here are the original 6:
ARES Division: "We shall restore order by superior force!" This main division of the IMC, led by General Marder himself, is put together from mercenaries employed to "seek emergent technologies" to finish the IMC's war with the Militia, as it is the obstacle to humanity's evolution on the Frontier. Why they employ mercenaries instead of actual soldiers? To minimize IMC losses. ARES Division mercenaries generally value order and progress. Apex Predators: "You kill me, you're better. I kill you, I'm better." Known as the one of the most ruthless mercenary units on the Frontier, the Apex Predators are led by the infamous Kuben Blisk. Blisk actually doesn't care which side he fights for: As long as the paycheck's good, he'll get the job done. Apex Predators generally value strength and profit. Vinson Dynamics: "Focus. Fight. Win." Vinson Dynamics is one of the main industrial and scientific branches of the IMC. This group is led by the robot Ash, who seeks knowledge for whatever the cost. She also is kinda sadistic, so if this means 'testing' some 'subjects' by putting them in one room with a few hostile alien animals, so be it. Vinson Dynamics Pilots generally value intelligence and wit.

Marauder Corps: "The Frontier is worth every part of this fight!" Led by Commander Sarah Brigs, the SRS' Marauder Corps are a few of the best Pilots in the Frontier. She grew up an orphan in these parts, and now dedicates her life to building a future free from IMC control. The Frontier is her home and the Militia is her family. The Marauder Corps Pilots generally value dedication and loyalty. Angel City Elite: "Hey, care for some moonshine?" Led by ex-IMC officer Barker, he and his Angel City Elites, also known as ACES, seek answers to mysteries within the frontier. Although officially independent, they believe in the Militia's cause and support them. Barker himself now layed his loyalty mostly with a bottle of moonshine. ACES generally value independence and freedom. The 6-4: "The 6-4 is a family, and we'll kick your arse!" Gates is the section commander of this freelance unit of elite Pilots. They follow an unique code of honor: they won't always work for the highest bidder. They want to protect the freedom of the Frontier, but on their own terms. The 6-4 Pilots generally value courage and skill.

I think a good idea would be to have a total of 3 weapons for each pilot: 1 primary, 1 pistol and 1 anti-Titan weapon. If you want, you can also swap the primary for a second pistol for duel wielding. Aside from that, every Pilot has a Data Knife, which can be used both for melee combat and hacking. A full list of weapons will follow later. For those who have played Titanfall 2 Multiplayer, they would know there is a thing called kits. However, thinking over the practical uses of the kits in kit 1, I decided that none of them would be useful since tactical and health regen don't really apply in an RP and Ordnance Expert (which shows the trajection of ordnance like grenades) shouldn't be necessary for a trained Pilot. This would mean that everyone would get Phase Embark, meaning there is basicly no transition from infantry-combat to Titan-Piloting, which is kinda lame. Instead, I though it would be better if everyone had both Wallhang and Hover, meaning you can hang on walls and temporarily float in mid-air. Low Profile (hiding jump jet trails and delaying Titan Rodeo alarm) could be used in certain stealth events, but I don't see the use of Kill Report (showing on display the locations of enemy deaths) either. Another Titanfall 2 Multiplayer thing is Boosts. Basicly, they give you a certain upgrade after a certain amount of kills. However, I find this not very useful for the RP as it would mean players would focus on kills to get their Boosts then use the Boosts (and there are a few OP ones among them) and get more kills until they get a new one.

These gadgets help the Pilots in infantry combat. Cloak: Become almost invisible, although when carefully looking you can still be spotted. Pulse Blade: Expose enemies through all surfaces with this sonar pulse-emitting throwing knife (could also be used to just throw into an enemy's body). Enemy pilots will notice they are getting spotted though. Grapple: A Grappling Hook for various uses. Stim: Quickly heals and boosts your speed for a short time. A-Wall*: Pilot sized particle shield that amps outgoing shots (placed on the ground in front of you and covers about an 100 degree angle). Phase Shift: Teleports into an alternate space for a short time (simultanious users will be able to see you though). Holo Pilot: Create a holographic copy of yourself that uses basic actions. *Combine A-Wall with the X-55 Devotion and a SA-3 Mozambique and you get instantly banned. (Seriously though, don't do it unless you want everyone to team up on you)

Ronin Northstar

Ion Tone
Vanguards are basicly the types like BT-7274 (the main Titan of the Titanfall 2 Campaign). BE WARNED: Vanguards are HIGHLY strong and adaptable, and I was considering to not let them be in the RP because of this, but they are just too iconic to let them out. So I decided on nerfing them. A LOT. The Vanguards in the RP are going to be just like normal Atlas types, meaning they will have medium armor and mobility and NOT the crazy mobility of a Stryder combined with the armor of an Ogre. On top of that, they will only be able to use the 'Expedition Loadout', meaning a 20mm armor piercing automatic rifle, a multi target lock-on missile system, a vortex shield, an extra electrical smoke and the 'burst core', that will let the Vanguard automaticly fire a stream of amped bullets.

Scorch Legion

A Core is basicly an Ult, meaning that after some time you can use them for a stronger attack. In the RP, this will mean that the Cores can be used about once a fight.

There are still many things to add but these are the main points so far. Almost nothing is final so far so the details can still be discussed. On another note, I myself am a terrible GM (and I know this because of a lot of experience, so don't say I just need to try it, because I did. A lot.) so I can't GM it myself. I'm fine with co-GM'ing but I need someone else to take the lead. If you like the idea or have some extra stuff to add, feel free to comment!
