Yami can summon half a dozen demons. They vary in shapes and sizes, but their shared characteristic is that they are incredibly grotesque to behold and are not larger than an adult human. Demons possess moderate speed and strength and their main form of attack are their claws and fangs and they can also walk on walls. If a demon dies it will take a day before Yami gathers enough energy to recreate it. If all six of them die then Yami can't use his gift for a day.

Background: Yami is a man whose been instilled with values. He is someone who believes strongly in being able to forge his own path by his own two hands. He's not opposed to fighting to protect his beliefs. Even if he loses. He's never set in his ways though he is constantly adapting to the world around him letting the way of the world help shape, define and re-define him. But his core beliefs never change. Fight for what you believe in, think with your head not your heart, if it's something that burns strongly within follow it.

It is mentioned that Yami has been a part of the orphanage since he was a baby. He could not remember anything before that but he had experienced all sort of things during his childhood. Born with a magic, he's tainted. Many people gave sinister stares but because he's used to it, he couldn't care much. He often gets into trouble and sometimes, Mr. Fritz help cleaning his mess. Thus, marking him as a troublesome kid. He fought a lot in the past but mainly, because he defended his friends or someone in need. Constant exposure to his dark gift, his hand changes into something dark and fearsome. Nowadays, he do what he wants and he doesn't care what other people think. He has his own value but he listened to lectures that come from his closest ones.

Athletic - Constant physical training makes him muscular. His physical strength, durability, endurance and stamina are above the average of children of his age.

Cunning - Probably his little crazy plans and tricks what make him alive till this day. He often gets out of troubles unscathed because he is cunning.

Hand-to-Hand Combat - Although he has his gift that he can use in combats, he's quite good at fighting using bare hands. This is achieved through small fights he had during his childhood. From someone bigger than him to little kids, no one leaves unscathed. Nevertheless, he likes to use his mischievous tricks to defeat adults instead of fighting them directly lol.

Gift: Through his dark affinity, he has been using dark magics that summon inhuman creatures, demon-like beasts using his imagination. The stronger he gets, the more vivid his imagination is, the creature summoned can be more powerful but this is achieved when he reaches new mastery of his gift, which is still far. At the moment, Yami starts with only one monster to summon. Yami summons a Grim Reaper donned in dark bloody cloak, wielding a long scythe that is as long as the grim reaper itself. The Grim Reaper is as big as a normal adult human. The reaper attacks the target using his scythe and it has moderate speed & strength. If it takes too much damage in combat, Yami will feel exhausted and wouldn't be able to summon it again for a day. The beast shares attribute with Yami. As Yami grow more powerful Yami can either improve the monster Yami already have or gain more monsters.

Background:
Tonkatsu's story begins several generations ago, in the fortress monasteries of Yamanoie far to the east. His was a hardy people who lived symbiotically with the harsh environment of their mountain homes, however what stood them out as truly odd was their dedication to Order in a world where Chaos was king. To put a long story and many tragic misunderstandings short, a war broke out between Yamanoie and it's neighbors that destroyed the their home and scattered the people to the four winds. Ever since then the people of Yamanoie have been dwindling, each generation shrinking as they are either absorbed into other kingdoms or meeting more violent ends. Tonkatsu's parents were in this latter group.

Descending from the great warriors of Yamanoie's past, Tonkatsu's parent's and several more families like them took to the life of wandering mercenaries. Young Tonkatsu grew up amongst these mercenaries, taught the beginnings of the ways of their warriors before things took a turn for the worse. Soon after the young boy's tenth birthday his parents gave him his father's mask, the carrying cylinder, a map of Dirt Town, and a scroll written in a language he did not know with the only instructions being to "Find the Orphanage, the owner is an... Old Friend of ours. Go," after which Tonkatsu never saw his parents again.

The old man read the scroll easily and looked upon Tonkatsu in a way that, even to this day he couldn't quite read, before taking him into his house of Urchins. The transition wasn't terribly hard, Tonkatsu wasn't a fool and knew that his parents were either dead or so deep into hiding that it didn't matter, though knowing them it was most likely the former.

This has left Tonkatsu in a sort of limbo. He isn't like most of the other kids, massive size aside. He knew his parents for a fairly long time compared to others and has only recently been "accepted" as an orphan, as it was. This has lead him to be a quiet boy who keeps many things to himself, only really speaking when absolutely necessary and an unconscious scowl that has become legendary amongst the other orphans. However he does not seek out solitude, instead just rolling with whatever happens while trying his best to keep everyone out of the worst of trouble.

Background: Argo was left with Old Man Fritz at the tender age of four. She doesn't remember much of her real parents, save that her father was a man of justice. Argo is utterly convinced that her father will return someday, and strives to become a girl he can be proud of: Kind, loving, and just. While admirable, this is tempered by the fact that Argo may actually be the singular dumbest, most gullible person in Dirt Town. How she has actually survived for so long is a mystery to everyone, but Argo's nine years in Dirt Town have firmly entrenched her as the village idiot. As for her relationship with the other orphans, she's something of a double-edged sword: While her abilities and contacts are useful, her hatred of crooked affairs means she's best kept out of the loop of any shady goings-on. Otherwise, things could get messy.

Navigation - Moving around the district at high speeds requires a great sense of direction and strong reflexes. Naturally, Argo has both.

Optimism - Argo is sunny and upbeat even at the worst of times, and holds ironclad belief in the inherent goodness of her fellow man. One would expect this to be a disadvantage, but Spirits are far more likely to keep someone alive or help them out once they recognize that said person is an endless well of positive emotions they can feed off of; a rare commodity in Dirt Town.

Likable - Likewise, Argo's willingness to help her fellow man and wide-eyed innocence mean that she's actually fairly well-liked among the Dirt Town population, and possesses friends and a positive reputation pretty much everywhere within and around the district, and quickly forges new bonds when brought elsewhere. Even the most blackhearted villains hesitate to raise a hand against someone so patently harmless.
