[@Kessir Tarkin] Hey bud I'm a bit stuck right now. So I want to bounce some ideas off of you a bit more before posting some more. So for this Arc (aptly named Whisper) I want this to be the descent the beginning of the fall. Diving deeper into the Underbelly of the city and getting caught up in political intrigue via dealings with The Flock. I know I want the end of the arc to be an all out brawl with head of the Elstai Family. That will send Apoche into disarray and cause Dhusa to be a fugitive. Any suggestions on how to start this? I Know I want to question the red head and begin the journey.
[@kidjab] Alright, here are some things we can interrogate the woman and get the confirmation that she belongs to the Flock, and that she was working for someone from the Elstai Family, but before we can actually get a name something happens. I can come up with something in the case we want to go that way. We could then have a number of choices from there: - Investigation where we find members of the flock and work on them until something is given up. - Chase the mysterious shadow figure where we are on the hunt for someone, maybe they had something to do with the death of our hostage, maybe they are hired or maybe they are carrying out a mission from The Flock to keep her silent. (If we choose this since your character is the main focus of this arc, I can take control of it so you can react how you would want Dhusa to react.) - Detective work where we learn about her after her death, where she lived and use clues to find out how she is connected to The Flock and the Elstai Family. - Maybe we don't get the Elstai name in time and stumble upon it later with the clues and information we gathered. Then when we reach the Elstai family, a confrontation occurs, either by forces that are yet unknown to us but want Dhusa to become a fugitive to stop her from intervening in something bigger. We could also go the divine route way, maybe they are involved in demons and other deities where we find that we are getting involved in something much bigger than we ever expected to be and something like the house they live in is destroyed and we are framed based on the circumstances of us being there. What you think so far?
