[@Oak7ree] Yeah, but were you competing against an olypian athlete? They're a different tier, and are trained to push their bodies to the very limit of human capability. I've only found competition fun for the sake of competition when there's a chance, even a small one, of winning, and when the winner isn't predetermined. For example, I'd have fun running the mile at school even though I never came close to winning because I was challenging myself. I'd have fun in shorter races because of that and I might even win (relays were really fun). There wasn't even a prize. But if someone had said "fastest guy gets the prize...but you also have to beat the olympic record" I would have been annoyed. Why offer a prize if there's no chance for getting it? *shrug* Just a mindset thing, I guess.
