Name: Skaraz the Sleepless Age: Approximately 60 million years Gender: Male Appearance: Note: Often clad in a dark cloak to hide his outlandish appearance. Bio: Once a general in the great Necrontyr Empire, Skaraz was turned into living metal during the biotransferance. He lead armies into battle first against the Old Ones, and then against the Star Gods who had dared betray the Necrontyr. But when the War in Heaven drew to a close and the Silent King ordered his undying legions into sleep, Skaraz could not comply. Unknown to him, damage suffered during the War would cause his slumber to be interrupted, ejected from the dreamless sleep after but a dozen million years had passed. With no way to rejoin his kin in sleep Skaraz instead wandered the universe, waiting for the day that his people would awaken from their slumber and once more dominate the stars. Unfortunately, time was not kind to the once great general. Millions of years of solitude combined with the errors in his circuitry have robbed him of his memories. Knowledge of his great conquests and purpose have eroded with the ages, leaving him a purposeless wanderer of the stars. Cherished memories and ingrained knowledge, too important to be surrendered to amnesia, form the bastions of his world. His name, his skills, and the ancient Necrontyr code of honour. Since then he has had untold adventures across the galaxy, as his interference in the affairs of primitive worlds would forever leave it's mark on their history. And although he has forgotten most of these tales, millions of years of experience yet remain within his mind. Powers/Abilities: [Necron Physiology] As a Necron Overlord, Skaraz possesses a powerful body made from Necrodermis. This form was crafted by the Gods for the sole purpose of war, and it performs this task with terrifying efficiency. Eldritch mechanisms grant him vastly superhuman strength and speed, as well as seemingly lightning-fast reflexes. Layers of Necrodermis plating also provide excellent protection, allowing him to shrug off attacks that would rip apart lesser foes. As if this wasn't enough the unique properties of the 'living metal' allow Necrodermis to automatically detect and repair damage at a great pace. Within a matter of seconds a detached limb can reattach itself, or a destroyed one can recreate itself entirely. Even if a vital system is destroyed it will simply be recreated over the course of a few minutes, often granting Skaraz the illusion of true immortality. The only way to truly permanently kill him is to destroy the majority of his physical mass, damage which even his regeneration cannot fix. [Weapons of War] Skaraz is equipped as befits a Necron of his status and achievements. This includes his personal weapon, a mighty masterwork Warscythe. The blade of this mighty weapon phases in and out of reality, slicing between the atoms of enemy armour and annihilating the atomic bonds that keep it together. Additionally he is equipped with a variety of equipment to improve his combat potential. The Chronometron has various uses, allowing Skaraz to glimpse the future and react to attacks before they occur. A Shadow Ankh projects a Null Field around him that negates or weakens psionic powers of any kind. Lastly a Phase Shifter allows him to shift partially out of this reality, which can be employed to effectively become incorporeal. Weaknesses: - All Necron are particularly vulnerable to Soul-based magic (including lifeforce-based abilities such as the Force or Ki). - Works according to a strict code of honour. - Slightly insane.
