The White Dragon and The Red Dragon

The Dragons Lair also known as Adans house located in the development district of the City
The time was... 9:00am on the first of December morn. Adan and Kiyohime were preparing themselves for the first large scale event of the grail war so far. They had both woken up in the same room this morning, at roughly the same time, at least Adan thought it was the same time considering Kiyohime had her eyes closed until he roused her. She had given him that look of questioning again, as if she was wondering which day would be the day that he proposed his love to her. Kiyohime was certainly a strange Berserker but he would be lying he if hadn't grown at least partially attached to her enough to care about her well-being both emotionally and physically. They had both lazed around in their nightwear. Adan wearing a shirt and track pants, and Kiyohime wearing her Kimono. Safe to say they both just wanted to relax as much as possible before the war began. Neither of them were really warmongers to say the least. So they spent most of the day watching movies that Kiyohime had selected on the first shop purchase for food. Time flew as they just sat together quietly contemplating what they were going to do when the time came and Soon it was time to get ready. Kiyohime wanted them to have more time together watching these high-budget plays, but it was time to go to war. Adan wasn't going to miss out such an opportunity. Adan dressed himself in his favorite suit and tie combination, He looked like someone from the business district of the city, he wasn't overtly casual but the suit didn't scream that he had large expenses of money. It was a nice middle-class suit. It also gave him enough free arm movement for combat in case that was necessary. To put it simply, he was prepared for every reasonable eventuality considering that they were in a war zone. Kiyohime herself wanted to go out in her Kimono but considering how much that would stand out even if they were in her home country of origin. Adan had procured her a medium class female workers outfit. He made sure the outfits bared resemblance to show that they were cohesive partners. She got dressed at relative speed, though some concepts left her confused. She left her ribbon that she was supposed to wear as a neck piece off as she headed downstairs to visit her loved one. "Adan, Dear, I can't seem to get this thing on." She said in her usual sweet tone that she reserved only for him. He eyed her out of the corner of his eye. Her long waist length hair was fully exposed as usual. It was its usual blueish tone. Adan finished his last checks of the contents of the brown cross shaped bag as he pulled it onto the table. "First aid kit is done." He said as he walked over to her, lightly taking the ribbon from her hands. "Please hold still." He said as he tied the ribbon to the collar of her shirt, adjusting the length accordingly. Kiyohime was happy with how close he was it seemed as she had a slight smile of satisfaction. Ideas running through her brain perhaps she should never learn how to tie it in order to have this be a staple of the morning. Once Adan had finished affixing the ribbon to her attire he decided to tell her about the one pressing issue about her outfit. "Kiyohime-chan, your hair is too long. It'll get caught while we are about and get all ruined. You should really tie it up, if you want to keep it in such good condition, secondly your going to need to hide your white horns, as much as they suit you they don't fit in a modern society, we don't want everyone knowing all our secrets before we even get started." He told her after patting her head much to her joy. He would never make her make any permanent changes to her appearance. He didn't have any right. He liked to think that they were equals, not Master or Servant, not lord and subject. They were partners. He doubted Kiyohime would want it any other way. He left the room as Kiyohime tied up her hair, masking its considerable length through a very ornate weaved braid. He had to check each and every rune he had installed in the house for defensive purposes. They acted as a secure parameter. Anyone with unauthorised magic circuits or anyone that started to travel upstairs will feel a shock the equivalent of a standard issue taser while also tripping an alarm. In total there was four runes, one in each corner of the house creating a safe parameter. Where things inside stay in and things outside stay out. Which is good because it made the house sound proof and considering they were in the development district of the city, drowning out the sounds of machinery was a very much welcome addition. Kiyohime soon finished making a small dinner and called out to the thing that meant most to her. "Adan, Cereals ready!" She called though not trying to deafen her future husband otherwise how could he hear her proclamations of love. If he couldn't hear her proclamations of love how could he accept his wedding vows. Kiyohime gripped her shoulder, calming herself to avoid her mind going too far into a tangent. She had to remain focused, she could think about such things when they got back, She had to remain focused to prove herself to her beloved. She turned around and walked out from the kitchen placing the toast on the table and watched as An-Adan came down the stairs. Adan came back downstairs having finished his little room inspection to notice Kiyohime's now modernized attire while she was eating toast. Safe to say the outfit suited her a lot in both look and overall feel. She gave of the secretary vibe which was fitting enough to say the least but he valued her more then that. He bit into his toast. His eyes still gazing at his servant. They both sat in tranquil silence, eating the toast while exchanging glances. After they had both finished. Adan stood up and Kiyohime stood up too. "Are you ready to go to war? Kiyohime-chan." He asked as he began to walk towards the door. "When I have you, of course I'm ready. Let's go break some people." She responded, the last sentence barely above a whisper. Adan didn't hear all of it but he didn't need to. When you summoned a Berserker you kind of expect the slight blood-lust. Adan opened the door and was about to step out into the freezing cold when he was pulled back by Kiyohime whom without a word wrapped a red scarf around his neck. "I don't need my master catching a cold when hes acting all tough." She said sincerely smiling at him. Adan smiled back. "Thanks for caring Kiyohime." He said grinning ear to ear. He then handed Kiyohime a white scarf and his signature pair of gloves, "I, however, do not need my medic becoming too cold to use her hands."He told her, repaying her thoughtfulness with his own. Kiyohime put both articles of clothing on slightly embarrassed at her master insistence for her well being and she slung the first aid kit from the table over her shoulder prepared for her role in the field. The time was 5 o'clock, now they just had to walk... -1 hour 5 minutes later-
The Church
Kiyohime was stumbling over her feet slightly as she was walking with the new non-broken in shoes. It was strange for her, a girl used to wearing such freeing kimonos to be made to wear a uniform that showed her curves. Still, She noticed that it made her loved one happy. His happiness was as much her happiness as her own after all. Adan's voice came across the mental link. "Careful Kiyohime, you might slip on some ice." He was standing behind her in case of an emergency, watching the first aid kit shake with each step she took, in order to keep his eyes off anything else. He had to stay professional. The sudden "Hmmph" he heard back was case enough to know that she was listening. They soon reached the church gates, not a servant in sight. It was likely that they were being watched. Certainly the likely tactical advantage would be to have the servants outside surveying anyone whom entered. Of course that would mean some servants would be roaming. Kiyohime couldn't fight them by herself. Therefore the only option was to stay together. "Kiyohime stay with me. We are going inside the cathedral together, Keep your eyes sharp. He said over the link. "Alright, well. I'll keep close to you then, lead the way. I'll watch your back in case anyone gets... stupid" She responded in the back and forth. Stepping inside they both walked toward the man whom was dealing with an impatient gangster kid, asking questions. Was this really the competition? Someone brought a immature child to war? Adan's eyebrow raised up. While Kiyohime analysed the kid in order to see if he had any disabilities she could exploit. He came clean, besides a mental one, it seemed from the way he as talking. Adan had heard parts of the conversation from outside and decided that maybe now he should interject. Kiyohime staying close behind him, looking like some sort of assistant with her attire and medical bag. Adan walked up behind the young man having to deal with the crap given to him by the other magus. This bullying was a little unneeded but to just make sure that this kid wasn't a complete waste of time. Adan gripped the arm of the boy without his permission and pulled back the long sleeve, taking a glance at the command seals on his hand before pulling the sleeve back down and putting his arm down. "Leave the guy alone, he is as much as a participant of this war as you or me, Therefore, worry about your own skins before you dare to compliment on others." Adan said his eyes narrowed in look of partial anger. Kiyohime smiling behind him. That was the man she liked. The one that took charge of situations. He turned back and gave the kid a wink. "Welcome to a war kid, try not to lose your head." he said grinning.
