Malkai "Save your magic. I have no need for it." Malkai said gruffly. For some, it might give the impression that he doesn't trust magic. Of course the truth is that he could take care of himself just fine. Besides that, the less the enemy is attacking him, the better. Leave it to the ones in armor to take the hits. Once everyone was on board Malkai was ready to take the group when a gnome on a golem arrived. Now this piqued his interest, if only slightly. Golems were strange constructs, but not entirely unknown to the druids. They too employ golems but using natural materials, making them something of a cross between elementals and constructs. But Malkai knew of their power nonetheless, and a golem could be useful in their venture. The more bodies between them and danger, the better. "I don't see a problem. But keep up. Our resources will be stretched thin among all of us. You'd had better be able to carry your own weight."
Veridis Quo After helping Kalista into the wagon Veridis smiled as she warned him that she wasn't entirely useless. If she could get some proper rest, she'd feel and look better. "I'll let you rest then. I want to see you at your best." Once Kalista was settled in Veridis left her alone and mounted on his horse. They were about ready to leave when a gnome and Shayle arrived. Seemed like they wanted to come and just about everyone had no real problems with it, though Veridis had his doubts. As much as he enjoyed the company of women and in such large groups, their party was getting rather huge. Four people were enough for a band of adventurer, six was usually his max. But with Kessel and Shayle, they'll have at least ten people, not including Kessel's golem and everyone else animal companions. Less of a group and more of a band at this point. "It looks like some of us have already agreed to take you two along. I don't have much to say myself, only that if you need help feel free to ask. All I ask is that you return the favor, should we need it." With his thoughts spoken Veridis faced forward and readied himself for their next adventure.
