The idea of splitting up once they were in the dungeon wasn’t an absurd idea—Rael herself had done it many times before dealing with them when there were multiple objectives. However, she was never part of any first group of wayfarers going into a dungeon, so a lot of the anxiety of being essentially in the dark did bother her as she never was a big fan of dying; but just because she was nervous didn’t mean she was about to chicken out, either. Rael looked back over her shoulder to Elian and the group, a nonchalant expression upon her face as she spoke clearly in response to the ideas presented by their de-facto leader and team mom. “If we’re splitting up then we ought to decide our groups carefully. I’m good at drawing the attention of the spooks, so I guess I should volunteer to lead group number two.” Rael definitely had the experience with the world of Pariah to take charge in leading a group, though if asked she would admit that she liked following a whole lot more than leading. Leader’s had to coordinate, inspire, and bring a level of tact when managing a group of people. It wasn’t difficult to tell that Rael liked not having to deal with people—especially considering her snarky and combatant way of talking to people. But as the first group to go into the dungeon she didn’t have many options. This motley group was who she was stuck with and she knew she had to deal with it until the end of their little venture into the unknown. And I sure as hell don’t want to be in the same group as lover boy if I can help it. Thinking about the inquiry on tactics, Rael made a quick reply before anyone else had the time to cut in. It was her way. “I think we should look at what we’re dealing with once we’re inside, but maybe that would be stupid. Few dungeons I’ve run into are linear, a lot of ‘em have different pathways. Basically all I think we should do is keep our wits about us and see what clues we can find out about the dungeon.”
