On the subject of augmenting your abilities, I have this to say - make a Dragonkin character. They're permanently in peak physical condition, and are essentially enhanced by magic occurring naturally in the pathogen they carry (hereditarily, oddly) to that end. We can encounter magical artefacts permitting you to further up the ante on this in the RP itself, but that relies on tangling with the Heavens' Eyes directly, which none of us are ready for yet.
