"Her fiance say you say?" Ntaj chuckled at this notion. Alison's uncle was right about one thing, she was hardly the type of princess any other man would want. Vocal, rebellious, bossy. She was practically already a wife without the bonds of matrimony. But Ntaj didn't hate that; he liked a woman with some fight in her. As long as she was willing to face off against him as an equal, perhaps Alison would have a place by his side. But first, Ntaj had to deal with her uncle. "Well surely whoever has the pleasure of marrying the Princess here is a wise ruler, a stalwart warrior, and a champion of those he holds dear. I'd very much like to meet this fiance of hers, and see if his worth is as great as his prowess." Of course, Ntaj had some suspicions that either this Fiance did not exist, or Alison's uncle had ideas to marry her personally in order to solidify his rule. Such was the tribulations of monarchy. Frankly Ntaj had quite enough of Alison's uncle and needed to devise a way to escape him. Fortunately, he spotted his old friend Mordekai not too far away. The two locked eyes for a moment, and Ntaj sent him a single. A wink, a smirk, and a motion with his hand. A simple signal: Ntaj needed a distraction. Mordekai nodded his head and called for Alison's uncle. "Excuse me, your majesty! Your attention please, I have urgent news for you!" Mordekai pushed Ntaj out of the way to speak to Alison's uncle face-to-face. During the one moment where he was distracted, Ntaj took Alison by her hand and whisked her away from the scene. The distraction would be short, but it was more than enough for Ntaj to take Alison away from her uncle and somewhere they could speak privately. Even Alison's bodyguard and Mordekai would have a bit of trouble tracking them down, more so since Ntaj made sure the two were on the move. "Your uncle is a mess of a man, isn't he?"
