It's like if a stuck tank's main armor piercing round bounced off you for no damage, what's the tank gonna do next? Pepper you with the machine guns?

The last time that happened, in order to stay relevant, Graf had to retroactively say "er, but wait, that attack wasn't the FULLY charged version!"
