It was very difficult to keep looking him straight on. His appearance unnerved her. It wasn't that she was judgemental or anything - in fact, she had a very good heart. Still, there was something...eerie about him. She kept her mouth shut as he talked about her father. Of course, the man would know who Lord Ashe was. Her father was well known for being extreme anti-piracy. He frequently tried pushing in harsher laws - including executing caught pirates immediately without even a trial. If you were caught red-handed then there would be no mercy. Abigail didn't really keep on top of the politics but she could see that every pirate would know him - and probably hate him. In fact, if it hadn't been for the fact her status might keep her safe, it could have also backfired. She kept her face straight, body rigid as he leaned in. She refused to cower despite the urge to. She swallowed slightly as he spoke. His words made her skin crawl. A slight glance up and she knew he was completely serious. He was mad. Insane. He could slit her throat right then and there and he wouldn't even feel it. He would have no regrets. Her fear came back intensified but she fought to keep it controlled. He wouldn't kill her. Not yet. Not until her father either refused to pay or after he paid. She doubted this pirate would hold his end of the bargain. But it was better than being killed right away. She was pretty sure her father would pay. The man might be extremely against piracy but he wouldn't leave her to die. That was not his way. Though, he would make sure that the pirates who caught her were personally hunted down. As Captain Low backed away again, Abigail nodded. It took her a second before she trusted her voice before she spoke. "Crystal clear." Gathering her reserve she looked up at him, face closed. "Is that all?"
