[b]Personality:[/b]
Despite being an all-around combat pragmatist, Jyn doesn't actually live for the battle and bloodshed. He does everything with caution and thoughtfulness, and he doesn't show much regard for sentimentality. He talks rarely, and he lets his guns speak for him. He isn't exactly evil, though. He just does his job very well...

Jyn does admire the color of blood. He has no idea why.

[b]Backstory:[/b]
Jyn was born in the town of Vixen, which was located within the Cocoon. In Vixen, life was harsh, and you needed to be gritty to survive. Jyn received a decent education, but he had to resort to dirty work in order to make a living. He took up his guns and worked as a mercenary, thus showcasing his skill in combat at an early age. He went after absolutely anyone and everyone. He was surrounded by chaos and bloodshed most of the time, but he didn't complain at all.

Eventually, his conscience got the better of him. He moved out of Vixen and began to stay in the much more civilized town of Bresha. During his stay there, he began working as a mechanic. The days wherein he would kill and slaughter would be over...

...until the forces of Pulse attacked. During that fateful day, the city became a complete mess, filled with the dead bodies of beasts and remains of machines. Screams and cries littered the streets, and everything rolled out of order. Jyn was left with one choice: to kill.

He took up his guns and began defending the shop that had provided him with a livelihood. Mangled corpses lined up in front of the store, and the sidewalks were literally painted in red. He had become a killer again, so he decided to join the Guardian Corps in order to put his skill to use.
