That was just about what Danh expected; he had never intended for his attacks to land, only to put pressure on him. What came of it all in the end was that Lorken finally attacked him, drawing knives from back and moving in to slash and stab. If this had been a real fight, this might have been where Danh was done for. Danh had trained a lot in preparation for the entrance exam he never got to attend, but goodness only knew fighting a real villain as a fresh student would have probably gotten him killed. He was mostly sure Lorken didn't want him dead at this point, but him getting serious would be the point where Danh would expect to lose. Only, he did not expect to lose just yet. This scenario had been what he was waiting for. He let the attack come, only stepping back to avoid actually taking the hit, but as his opponent stepped inwards, his free harpoon shot out, seeking to strike Lorken as his momentum carried him forward. But he was not done yet; as Lorken dealt with his initial strike, Danh flicked his whip back around and aimed to land a blow on his leg. It wasn't a plan that was likely to win the day, given he knew Lorken could take a nasty blow without complaining, but he could at least aim to get a hit in. Defeating the teacher was probably not something he should expect, but he at least hoped he could show that he could damn well fight and definitely deserved to keep going. [@Zelosse]
