"Blake... what is this place?" Sky began, marveling at the structure that towered over them. "I... don't actually know," the older boy admitted. "I just somehow feel drawn to it." Blake wondered if he was crazy, though, something was telling him to trust his gut feeling about the mansion. It promised a safe haven from whatever it was that currently possessed their sister. The brothers had been on the run for quite some time, and Blake was relieved that Sky had gotten over the initial trauma from that incident with... Rossa, was what it called itself, back home. He still had no idea as to what had become of his parents, but his brother was now his biggest responsibility, and all he had left to protect. "We should check it out," Blake said to Sky before grabbing his wrist. "Just stay close to me." The child nodded and followed his brother up to the front door. Blake cautiously opened it and peered in, finding the coast to be clear. The two made their way further in, only to pick up some voices that were getting louder as they seemed to be moving closer to their source. Sky clung to Blake's side, fingers wrapped around the hem of the elder's shirt. "Who are they? What if they're dangerous?" Blake put a comforting hand on his younger brother's back. "It'll be fine." He wondered how he knew that, but he just did for some reason. It was not long before the brothers found themselves at the entrance of the dining hall, where several other individuals were chatting among themselves. "I guess... we're just in time then..." Blake muttered, observing the activity in the area. [@ the peeps in the dining room]
