She had read of the Northern lights although, obviously, she had never seen them, in such a way at least. Hope. Eve said and smiled, after all, even what could be called a godling, can't escape her humanity. Let me show you something... she projected in her head, instantly using her ability to take them both under the true Northern lights. It always amazed Lilith, the way Eve and her power functioned. She, herself, didn't yet know just what she could do and it most certainly didn't come without some serious drawbacks but she could see why she didn't want to be put under the effect of drugs. "Where are we, sweetie?" she said or rather thought and Eve could answer her as if they were having a casual chat. We are in the far north, we are two hunters, sharing a moment under this same sky, away from Hydra, away from the Institute, away from it all. Eve replied, a hint of longing in her voice. "What? We're what? Am I- Eve am I a pOLAR BEAR? They're extinct! Is this actually happening? Is it a dream? I still can't figure it out, Eve." I don't know either, Lily, sometimes I'm the shadow you see in the corner of your eye, sometimes I'm just dreaming, I really can't tell. Sometimes I see things that couldn't possibly be happening in our times, sometimes I don't. Orphan replied bringing them back to the -now- boring and grim auditorium. [sup]Auditorium, Institute HQ May 12,6:50am[/sup] Lilith wasn't feeling anything at all, after the Director's announcements, it wouldn't be her first rodeo and she would swear that he picked her as a failsafe, in case the double-digit pups failed to clear their mission or got in a pinch against the Hunters. I should have been out in the sewers or against the Colossi, not babysitting... she thought but if she had been honest with herself, the fact that Eve would actually deploy against a Loner of all things, had her shaking. "I don't think I'm going to die, it wouldn't make sense if I did." Orphan whispered cryptically, as if she had read her mind. To her, actually being deployed had two possible meanings. First, they thought that she'd be forced to show what she could do or second, they hoped that if she died against the Loner, Lilith would grow hateful of Hydra and become a compliant weapon in their arsenal. "Are you sure you want to do this? You don't have to. I'll finish my mission real fast and I'll go help Group F immediatelly, Eve you can barely function without the added stress of a field op, how could y--" "I'll survive. Not whole, but I'll survive. I've seen it. Until next time, Lilith, I think it's about time I head to my Gate. I'd wish for good luck but luck is the third biggest lie humanity ever told itself. Second is the supposed kindness of everything Divine and first... well, call me weird but I consider flat pop to be best pop. And for some reason I'm the only one I know who thinks that. Even the voices make fun of me." With that short monologue, Orphan exited the auditorium, a certain spring in her step that one could call excitement. Psyker on the other hand, wasn't exactly calmed by her words but the exact opposite. Not that she could do much though so she left too, straight to Gate 4, a plan already hatching in her head. The moment their mission was over, she would go straight to Group F's mission site, a Loner with abilities like hers wouldn't be easy to take down and that damn Director had barely given any raw firepower in that group. Not gonna leave you by yourself, sweetie. Not a chance, never...
