He tried to sit up but could not use his arms to help him with that. Using solely his abdominals he sits up. Arashi shook his arms biting it. "Hey! Let go! I didn't hurt you as bad as I could have!" Glaring darters at Arashi she backed off at least a little bit, with a snarl that was. 

Finally up and come to his senses Maruki looks at his arms that burned as hell, one arm had a huge but superficial cut in it, as well as some recent bite marks, his other arms was more severely injured, being soaked in blood and impaled at both sides, he could not even move them. Kiru, seeing the both of them were awake spoke up: "Well... that wasn't bad. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. You both fought hard, used your abilities well enough, and even tried to adapt to injuries as you took them. I guess you pass. I'd hate to send you back to the academy anyways. So how about we go get these injuries tended to. Then I'll get us lunch again, to celebrate. Sound good?" Listening to his sensei he could not help but laugh a little grim.
