Appearance: Lilac, as her name suggests, is as delicate as a flower. With only 1,56m, her tiny stature only contributes to make her even cuter. Lilac is from a faun subspecies, having deer features instead of the more common goat ones, including her horns, nose and ears. Her torso is partially covered by a thin layer of brown, spotted fur, starting just below her breasts. Unlike her goat siblings, Lilac's fur is very short, giving her a very smooth, silky texture. The fur covering her bottom half follow the same style. Lilac always lived in the woods, away from big cities and such, together with her small tribe. Her usual choice for clothes are a thin, comfortable top and a skirt, in order to not restrain her movements. Since she used to live in a forest, Lilac hates to wear heavy and uncomfortable clothes, often choosing to wear just the absolutely necessary. Between other fauns, Lilac has no problem showing her own skin, but gets a bit embarrassed in doing so when amongst other people. For that reason, she chooses to wear a few more articles of clothing other than just a bra top and a skirt, opting for a short, cotton tunic, a scarf and sometimes gloves.

Personality
Lilac is a quiet and shy girl at first, but once you earn her trust and she starts to feel comfortable around you, she can be surprisingly sweet and happy. It is very hard to see her in a bad mood or without a serene expression. Lilac is very inquisitive, curious and interested in learning everything she can. She may not start a conversation, but if you're doing something that she doesn't know, or sparks her interest, she will approach and watch you carefully. Due to that, she makes an excellent student and pupil. Due to the fact that she lived in a forest since she was a child, she is not used in being in very crowded spaces, and feels very uncomfortable. The fact that she didn't have many opportunities to meet humans and other races, she is very curious about them, but at the same time, she doesn't know how they will react to her and her appearance. It may sound incredibly surprising, but Lilac is very interested in romance. She enjoys reading romance books and is deeply curious about how it is to be in love. But all she knows about that comes from books, so she is very naïve and inexperienced. She gets flustered easily and does not know how to answer to romantic advances and has problems in conveying her feelings or get the attention of the one she is interested in.

Belongings
- A small, handcrafted leather bag she uses to carry her belongings. - A leather notebook, containing many annotations of nature magic, herbs, potions and witchcraft. It's the same notebook that the witch that lived in the forest gave her when she started instructing her. - A small assortment of natural herbs, vials and a mortar and pestle. Although it is small and easy to carry, it can't be used to make overly complicated potions without a proper setup (a fire & etc.) and it is mostly used to make small quantities.

Psychological Bits
Likes: Sweets and vegetables Singing and dancing (even though she only does so when no one is nearby) Overall just being near nature Dislikes: Meat Being scared (she gets scared very easily) Crowds

History
Even as a child, it was clear that Lilac was special. Since very young, she had a unusual connection to the nature. As she grew up, it became even clearer that she had an innate aptitude to nature magic. This untapped potential could be very beneficial not to just her, but to the entire forest and to everyone as well. Coupled with her sweet personality, the other fauns knew she would do only good. As soon as she was old enough, they sent her to a small coven of witches that lived in the center of the forest. These witches had a long, friendly relationship with the fauns, as these witches took care of the forest along with them. There, Lilac was instructed on how to write, read and in the basic of magic and witchcraft. Her curious and inquisitive personality only made it so she learned what the witches had to teach her even faster. As she grew, her curiosity grew with her, to the point that the witches couldn't teach her anymore. If she wanted to continue learning about her powers and the world around her, she would have to do something she never did before... Leave the forest and go to an academy... The Hikari Ryodan Academy. There, as the witches said, she would find people who were more able to answer the questions she had. Lilac knew it wouldn't be easy, and she was honestly afraid, but there was only one path to follow.

Abilities
Faun Physiology - Even though her arms are not that strong (in fact, being rather fragile), her legs are extremely strong. One of her kicks is very devastating if she hits someone. Her faun physiology also gives her many advantages regarding common humans, such as: Enhanced senses (smell, hearing, vision...), night vision, agility, dexterity and speed. Due to her powerful legs, traversing difficult terrain and even climbing mountains is very easy for her. Coupled with her small frame, it makes her very difficult to catch, due to her agility, speed and the ability to leap very well. Horns - Unlike the horns of her satyr cousins, it's not suited for combat, and its just for looks. It can break, but it will grow up again in a week or so if she feeds herself well. Nature Magic - Lilac was born with an innate aptitude in nature magic, but she has still to learn how to use her powers. Her previous training with the forest witches gave her some instruction. Although she is still inexperienced, she can use it to a multitude of things, including binding and constricting enemies with roots (She is not yet capable of using thick and strong roots to break bones or kill anything. The maximum she can do is constricting them enough so they can't move. If she is able to constrict their throats, she can make them unconscious.), using thorns and vines to cut and pierce (while very painful and debilitating, its hardly lethal.) and even make flowers and other types of plants grow. Feats like opening crevices on the ground by using powerful roots, constricting a person enough to break its bones and even kill it or other things are still far too advanced for her. Nature communication / Animal Empathy - Lilac is able to sense the overall well-being and conditions of their immediate environment and natural setting. She is physically, emotionally and mentally synched with the environment around her, Allowing her to perceive and understand not only what happens in nature but if it is in harmony with natural order. A naturally tree falling or predator catching their prey in a near by forest would be felt by her, leaving her feeling calmly relieved. Unnaturally, would leave her sickened. Although its completely useless in a combat situation, its very useful for providing information about the forest's health. Empathic Voice - Although Lilac has not realized that she has this power yet, when singing, she is able to calm down both wild creatures and others who can hear her voice. Seeing as how she hasn't realized that she has this power yet, she doesn't know about it, but she can actually manipulate other's emotions to a certain extent with her songs. The fact that she never sings to others (because she is too shy to do so), makes it even harder for her to realize this power.

Skills
- Herbal knowledge: Lilac has vast knowledge about herbs. She is able to make healing and invigorating potions, potions to help others to sleep & etc. She cannot do overly complicated potions due to her inexperience and lack of proper materials and instruments. In order to do those potions, Lilac also learned which plants are poisonous and how to extract them, but she doesn't like to make poisons, because it serves no other purpose other than to hurt and kill. - First aid: Although she is not a medic or a surgeon, Lilac can treat most common wounds such as cuts, bruises and even broken bones. - Fighting: Every faun knows how to fight to a certain extent. Lilac's strong legs can be used to deal quite the damage by using her speed and her muscles. Even though fighting is always the last resort for Lilac, if it comes to this point, you should do better to stay away from her hooves...

Additional Information

The coven was located inside the hollow trunk of a big and old oak. The smell was very familiar to Lilac, the smell of moss, of wood, earth, potions and herbs all mixed together, creating an unmistakable fragrance. Even though fauns are remarkably wary of strangers, the relationship they had with that particular coven was very good. The first contact between the coven and the fauns were when the witches asked them for certain herbs to make potions to make plants grow. While wary at first, the fauns had no reason to deny that request. With time, both parties came to completely trust one another. The forest was a home for both of them, they lived in harmony with the forest, so there was no reason that they couldn't live in harmony with themselves. As Lilac approached the big oak, she breathed deeply, making a satisfied expression as she felt that familiar and nostalgic smell. The area around the witches tree was replete of vegetation. Ranging from herbs and bushes to all the flowers she could think about. She often liked to go there and lay down on the field of flowers to relax and play, but that day, she wasn't there to play. As she skipped through the flower field, she couldn't help but feel a bit nervous... It was that day, after all, the day of her final farewell to the witches that taught her for so long. She had prepared herself mentally and emotionally since the last week. As Lilac knocked on the heavy wooden door, she sighed once more, shaking her head and gently slapping her cheeks. "It's all going to be fine. I just need to be calm." she thought to herself. "My dear! Finally here, are you? You took more than the usual... Couldn't wake up on time, eh?" A very familiar voice came from inside the tree, together with slow, but steady sounds of steps coming towards the door. As the door opened, it revealed an old woman with a kind and warm smile, waiting for Lilac with open arms. "Grandma!" The young faun girl said. Skipping happily and hugging the old woman. Her grey hair was adorned with a multitude of colored beads. Her very skin smelled like herbs and flowers. The old woman really passed the image and feel of a kind grandma. That woman was the one responsible for teaching Lilac since she was 6 years old. Even though she wasn't related to her by blood, the young faun considered her as a member of her family, she had a special affection for the old woman. She was her grandma. Always with a kind smile on her face, an endless patience and always ready to answer Lilac's questions. As the faun girl hugged the old woman, she couldn't help but let some tears roll down her face. She would miss that smile, that smell... She would miss the happy expression that the old woman did whenever Lilac succeeded in making a different potion or using nature magic. Maybe even more than her parents... "Oh, my dear... You will get your new scarf dirty!" The old woman said, gently wiping the tears from the girl's face. "There is no need to cry. I may be old, but these old bones still have a lot of strength and vigor on them! Don't worry, I will still be here if you wish to visit me!" the old woman said, tapping her biceps with a laugh. "I... I will miss you so much..." The girl said, with a sad smile. The mixed emotions that ran through her mind were clear to the old woman. Excitement and happiness, eager to see and learn new things, but at the same time, sadness for what she would leave behind and nervousness to what she would need to face. She could read Lilac as clear as a book. "Both you and I know that there is only one path to follow, Lilac. And don't worry. I know that you are confused, it's normal to be, don't worry! It's normal to feel all those emotions on this situation." The old lady continued, gently taking the faun girl's hands and taking her to a rustic wooden table, making her sit down on the chair near it as she walked around the hollow tree, moving with calculated precision as she picked a multitude of different herbs that were carefully stored on glass vials along the walls, grinding them on a mortar and pestle and putting them on a kettle to make a tea. "I taught you well, my child. I know how capable you are. That's why I'm sending you to the academy. You will see many new things, learn new things, meet new people. And I know that you are excited and happy for that. You don't need to be worried about me. I promise you, I will be here when you return." The old woman said, as she finished doing the tea. "Here, drink this. Can you tell me what herbs are in this tea?" The old lady asked, looking to Lilac with a mischievous expression. It was an old game they always did together. "Hmm~!" Lilac said with a smile, as she got the cup of tea on her hands, sniffing its pleasant fragrance. "Lavender, chamomile, lemon grass..." She said, before taking a long sip. "Ginger root... but there is something more... right? Its really tasty but I can't really recognize what it is." The girl continued, drinking the tea with a smile on her face. "I knew you wouldn't be able to tell it by the taste. It's ginseng!" The old lady said laughing. "Besides being energetic and invigorating, do you know what it is used for?" The old woman asked, with a mischievous smile. "Grandma!" Lilac said, shocked and blushing. She knew very well what ginseng was used for. "Don't be like that! Who says you won't find a good looking boy for you on the academy?" The old lady said, laughing, aware of how much the faun liked to read the romance books on the small library she had. "I'm happy to see that smile on your face again, my child. That is how you should feel. There is a big journey in front of you, you should be excited!!" The old lady continued, walking to the other side of the room, getting a leather bag filled with many things and a paper envelope. "I made it myself! Who says I'm just good at making potions, right?" the old lady continued, with a smile. "It has everything you might need for your journey. Your notebook with all your annotations, some vials, herbs and a mortar and pestle. This is a gift from me and all the other witches for you so you don't forget us." She said, handing her the bag and the envelope. As Lilac opened the envelop, she read the letter's contents... Dear Miss Lilac, You have been accepted into Hikari Ryoden Academy, the semester starts soon, so please notify us with an answer of your intention of coming. We truly hope to see you here!! Headmaster. "Thank you, for everything grandma... I will never forget you." The girl said, getting up and hugging the old lady, after putting the bag over her shoulders with a satisfied and happy expression. "Go now, Lilac. The academy is waiting for you." The old lady said to the young faun, with a kind smile, waving her hands as the young and eager faun jumped and ran, excited to the new things that she would see from now on.
