On bad days, he still looks pretty good. Self-positivity and all that jazz. Coach is a tall individual, standing at 6'2" with a fairly obvious and well toned build, exceptional for doing long and grueling work outs to stay fit for baseball. Well, to stay fit, in general. He's pretty much what people would expect for a fraternity bro, which he isn't ashamed to admit. He's got white, clear skin, and the kind of stereotypical hair for a college student of his status. Though, his eyes are very chocolate brown with flecks of green in them and his teeth are almost impeccable aside from a stubborn canine that's been pushed forward due to his top left wisdom tooth. Coach walks normally when not under stress, but when put through the ringer, a limp can become very obvious due to an improperly healed kneecap. It means he can't quite work out for as long as he usually did, nor can he run too fast or too long. It's something he lives with and something he doesn't let get him down. A person's person. Someone who can relate and associate. Most importantly, Coach is a social creature with a love for supporting those under him and those around him. If someone needs a guy to paint their entire body and scream on the sidelines, Coach will go that extra mile and paint names across the chests of willing and unwilling subordinates. He'll be there for you, even if he's never quite there for himself. Coach has a hard time with introspection. Most of the time, he'll convince people that their concerns, fears, and worries are his. He'll spend too much time helping others, that he stops caring about helping himself. A classic tale of a man who thinks his problems are mole hills compared to the mountains other people have to carry. In doing so, he cracks under his own stress and pressure, often forgetting that he can ask for help, too. Other than the deep and cumbersome pressure of his own issues, Coach is a fantastic friend. He's the type of individual who likes to hang, to socialize, and to party with those he deems his close friends. To him, everyone's a close friend. Of course, being in a competitive environment all of his life, Coach has issues with taking competition too far. He goes to great lengths to make sure his team wins and in an environment that has no actual rules (aside from the law), Coach can take things to a dire level. He wants to win and he'll trample anyone over to get that win. Most of the time. He'll apologize afterwards, probably after he's done gloating.
𝗁𝗂𝗌𝗍𝗈𝗋𝗒 ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔✶
All-American Family, U.S.A. Coach has had an easy life and an easy time growing up. With his parents owning a large firm in Memphis and working primarily for big-time companies, they've never wanted for anything. Their big plantation house with their full staff of hired workers meant Coach had a relaxed living, with people caring for him here and there. He was provided for and allowed to maintain a child like wonder of the world while growing up. All the work he's had to do was in school and, more importantly, in sports. Growing up, Coach found his passion for baseball at an early age and further cultivated his talent right into college. Losing wasn't a concept Coach was familiar with, finding himself the crutch of the team, he took everyone on his back and carried them to victory. Well, when he was in his element. Coach had a talent for baseball and other sports he found himself more of a supportive player than an all-star. It's likely why he found himself in a coaching position now and why he adopted the nickname Coach early. Where his actual coaches slacked, Coach picked up on. He had as much vim and vigor to ignite his entire roster of teammates — he was the heart of his teams, even if he didn't play exceptionally well himself. Perhaps it's just a childhood fancy, but Coach found his passion early in life and he's always felt the need to pursue that. He wants it, deeply, and with all of his heart. Yet, his parents have other plans for him. And, while they aren't necessarily monsters like in fairy tale books, they have their own ways of worrying for him. If that means dashing his dreams so that he can actually live off his work instead of living paycheck to paycheck, well... his parents do like to play dirty. Which is exactly the reason why he's playing dirty himself. Penbrooke was a place his father went, and his father before him, and so on. Naturally, it's where Coach found himself and, even more naturally, it's where he found Phi Kappa Delta. His father was something of a legend, or at least that's what he says. It's not really something Coach here's a lot through the halls of his fraternity, nor is it something he wants to here. He doesn't fancy living in a shadow. Upon hitting his Sophomore year, Coach found himself in just a few predicaments: he needed to join Phi Kappa Delta, which he did, he needed join at a very inopportune time, and he injured himself during their little hazing ordeal. Hazing's an outdated concept and he already pledged the money, so he really didn't need to bother. Unfortunately, he liked making people happy and in doing so he made himself incapable of playing that season and then consecutive seasons he found himself benched over and over again. His injury never did fully heal and he felt slower and less reactive than he was before. He never faced his issues, instead he decided he'd help coach his teammates, help them practice, make sure they were primed and ready for the season. He couldn't actually coach a team, but he could help them practice and train off the field. Plus, he's had recent duties lately that would keep him from being able to dedicate that much time to actually playing.
[sup]FC: Daniel Bederov Color: #44a28b[/sup]

trust your heart if the seas catch fire (and live by love though the stars walk backwards) [sup]⚜ Acquaintances || ☯ Neutral || ☮ Friends || ♫ Best Friends || ♥ Love Interest || ⚤ Boyfriend/Girlfriend || ☠ Enemies[/sup]

Oᴍᴇɢᴀ Psɪ Pʜɪ
{☮/☠} A ɴ ɴ ᴀ . With both of them being presidents of their Greek houses, it makes sense that these two know each other. Of course, Coach considers her a friend, even if she doesn't feel the same, though... he's pretty sure she considers him a friend. That being said, Coach also loves competing with Anna to throw the best events, the best parties, the best anything! There's no animosity, but Coach can get a little carried away in trying to better her. During those times, he usually loses out. He's no stranger to conceding to Anna as the number one party thrower on campus. But, she also cares deeply for her sisters and Coach respects her 100% for that. He cares about his brothers about just as much and loves to see other presidents see their charges the same way. {⚜} A ᴠ ᴇ ʀ ʏ . It's not even that Avery looks like she has the raw strength, she simply looks like her confidence is enough to give her the adrenaline boost to drop kick 200 pounds of solid muscle across a football field. For that, Coach respects her. Of course, he doesn't know her very well, she's very much the type of person that he'd admire. Her attitude is genuine and candid, at least to Coach, and he appreciates the level of self-assurance she has. Of course, he's still on a "Hey, sup," kind of basis with her and hasn't really gotten to know her past seeing her at parties or what people say of her. {⚜} R ᴏ s ᴀ ʟ ɪ ɴ ᴅ ᴀ . I've learned my lesson: let Rosie do Rosie." It seems like a lot of ladies in the Omega Psi Phi have a certain... air about them. They're all go-getters, or at least most of them are. That's something Coach can respect, but a few he can almost classify as up-tight. Rosalinda would be one of those individuals if he didn't want to get a boot shoved up his ass. Even so, he understands the girl has a drive and a focus that's not really comparable. Still, he doesn't know her much beyond that and any incidents running into her. {⚜} C ʜ ᴏ ᴜ ᴀ . V ᴀ ɴ ɢ || "Don't talk to her much. She seems super chill, though." Coach hasn't always been one for really listening to music. He's often too busy with his studies or too busy working out to really notice beyond the simple and catchy tunes he listens to. So, he and Choua don't typically mesh. Not that they're opposites, just that they don't have much in common and don't really have any other grounds to start conversation beyond, "Hey, hello. As an assistant to most of the college's sports teams, Coach likes to take time out of his otherwise busy schedule to help the individuals on the team who need that little extra kick in training. It's mostly to keep them conditioned and to help hone their skills. Though he's mostly known for being an excellent baseball player, he often has a number of excellent tips and ways to train that translate to other sports. That's where his relationship with Divine comes into play. He's grown especially close to her during the time he helps her train for her basketball games. In between days she practices, he helps her and her team basically get better at basketball or at least maintain a healthy diet and keep their cardio up so they don't tire out on the basketball court. Plus, he goes to all her games and cheers her on from the sidelines... he's basically a father figure. Don't tell her that, though, that'd probably be weird. She probably already has a dad. {⚜} J ᴀ s ᴍ ɪ ɴ ᴇ . S ɪ ᴍ ᴍ ᴏ ɴ s || "Game buddy!" Coach doesn't know much about Jasmine, other than she's Divine's best friend. There's something about the frantic, dogmatic way people appreciate sports games that can be quite off-putting. Well, he's got enough cheer for the two of 'em. {☮} S ᴏ ᴘ ʜ ɪ ᴀ . There's been a few falling outs between his fraternity and the sorority. He doesn't question what his boys get up to, as long as it's not anything bad or serious—he's had to have a few of those misogyny talks already, this year. Of course, he tries not to get into everyone's private lives, so, he just keeps his and Sophia's conversations pertinent. They have their little competition both in the gym and out of it. He considers her a good friend, either way.

Pʜɪ Kᴀᴘᴘᴀ Dᴇʟᴛᴀ
{♫} D ᴀ s ʜ . Something like that. {☮} D ᴀ ɴ ᴛ ᴇ . M ᴏ s s ᴏ s || "Hm, Dante? I let him do what he wants to. The only one out of the bunch that Coach actually considers a brother. He even jokingly calls him Uncle Dante. Of course, he does his best to let Dante do what he wants, but he kind of makes a bit of a mess sometimes. Usually only in the form of brokenhearted ladies. Love 'em and leave 'em, Coach supposes. But, he's typically there to help out the brokenhearted party. Still, Dante's the vice-president and he respects him whenever he decides to input his own opinions in meetings or events. He understands that the dramatic Greek culture isn't for everyone, but Coach does his best to exemplify good morals and high standards when it comes to his boys. He just hopes they all feel the same way, Dante included. {☮} C ᴏ ʀ ɴ ᴇ ʟ ɪ ᴜ s . J ᴏ ʜ ɴ s ᴏ ɴ || "Cool kid. For Cornelius, he kind of tries to influence him a little too much and might breathe down his neck a little too hard. What can he say? He's just really excited about what his kids--uh, er... BROTHERS get up to. Cornelius is not the exception, in fact Coach might have a bit of an issue with hovering over him during parties. Not to be overbearing or strict, but... just to be overbearing. I'M THE DADDY OF THIS HOUSEHOLD. THESE ARE MY CHILDREN." Out of everyone in the fraternity, Mikey's kind of the one he sees most as a pseudo-son, to him. The minute he was initiated, Coach took the kid under his wing and is happy to show him around, teach him the basics, and generally be there for him. He might... take that fatherly role a little too seriously. But, most importantly, they've had some eye-opening talks lately and Coach feels like he's getting to Mikey, little-by-little. {☮} I s ᴀ ɪ ᴀ ʜ . There seems to be a recurring theme between his boys. Either they're party-goers or wallflowers. Isaiah happens to be the latter and an oft gloomy one, at that. Still, Coach considers him one of the boys and treats him just the same, even if Isaiah happens to hate everything about... everything and everyone. If there's anyone that can get to him, it's Coach. At least, that's what he tells himself in the mirror every morning. It may or may not be true. Like, no clue. He honestly takes it as admiration, which he isn't a stranger of. Most of the time he doesn't really peg people as anything but straight, what with living in the deep south all of his life. So, when a dude takes to him, he kinda considers it more admiration than a crush or anything more. Still, he's good friends with Archer and considers him one of his best pals in the house. Of course, if there's anyone down to chill and just game all day, he seems to be the man. Coach respects that and he respects the guy's wishes. Which is why every Friday night is the fraternity's special game night with a rotation of certain multiplayer games to play. If there's anyone that loves competition, it's Coach, and one day he'll beat every damn one of them in every damn game they play. And what better way to do that than as an Ana one-trick.
