One second, Cyndyr could be one of the nicest people you'd ever met. The next, Cyndyr could be an explosive inferno, angrily threatening to blast someone into next week with her magic. Generally, the latter is reserved for those Cyndyr considers "especially idiotic," while the former is Cyndyr's day-to-day appearance, giving her the appearance of a dutiful and welcoming maid. This tends to allow Cyndyr to scoot by around social encounters, as no one would expect such a sweet girl being so full of anger. That is, unless someone had the guts to try figuring out Cyndyr's secondary personality for themselves...
[sub]Strengths[/sub]

Maid - What started as a side job has become commonplace for Cyndyr. Nowadays, Cyndyr knows the ins and outs of being a maid, although idiots who make her job even more difficult may have gotten to her in a good or bad way, depending on how you look at it. Magical Aptitude - Hailing from Stigma, Cyndyr holds a great deal of magical power to her name. Whilst Cyndyr has trained her abilities quite a bit, most of her power is the result of genetics passed down by her ancestors. Posaune - Aside from being a dedicated maid, Cyndyr has a few hobbies of her own. Practicing the posaune whenever Cyndyr happens to have some free time is one of them. Skill Training - When it comes to being a maid, there are a lot of different topics one must know, from cooking to washing to cleaning. Cyndyr, as a result, tends to pick up new skills easier than most whenever she bothers to take time to learn something new.
[sub]Weaknesses[/sub]

Calyx (Hate) - Cyndyr typically finds herself at odds with people from the Calyx province, mainly for being looked down upon by snobbish professors who think they're better for having learned, rather than being gifted from the start, as Cyndyr is with her magic. Magic Control - Whilst Cyndyr is quite gifted with the wonders of magic, she "struggles" with controlling her output. Let it be said it would be wise to stand out of the way if Cyndyr is casting a magic spell. Messes - Are you someone who never clears off their plate before putting it in the wash, or constantly stains their clothing with some kind of liquid by "accident?" These are ways to tick Cyndyr off, who might just turn the perpetrator into a smoking pile of ash. Weapon Training - Cyndyr has had no formal weapon training, therefore she hasn't the slightest idea how to use a sword or a spear. That being said, there isn't anything stopping Cyndyr from whacking someone over the head with a frying pan.
[sub]What were you doing when the princess was kidnapped?[/sub]

On the day of the Founder's Festival and the Princess' kidnapping, Cyndyr found herself working as a maid for the festival, passing out food and drink to the spectators and keeping the area clean as best she could. One of these spectators was a rather fat, balding old man with a large appetite, who sent Cyndyr to fetch him and his fellow associates more delicacies as they chit-chatted. When the bandits burst out of the castle, Cyndyr unfortunately found herself in the path of their escape, her hands full with trays of sweets and wine cups. Pushing through the crowd, Cyndyr was one of those shoved aside, which resulted in her losing control of the trays she was carrying. Food, drink and glass were thrown downwards, making a large mess on the ground. Naturally, this fiasco had ticked Cyndyr off, who tried chasing down the thugs, threatening to roast them alive like a pig on a spit with her magic. Alas, however, the crowd was too thick, and Cyndyr was unable to catch up to the perpetrators, leaving Cyndyr in a sour mood.

Alisse
Protective ♦ Empathetic ♦ Hard Working ♦ Self Destructive ♦ Stubborn Name
Alisse Moonglow. Fur rings her neck, ankles and wrists, being white to match her traditional hair. Her eyes are of black sclera with rings of orange for pupils, and long lashes. Her face is heart shaped and her skin is as pale as her other features. Her arms, legs and most of her body is covered with a hard carapace. This natural armor is built ergonomically and thus doesn't cover joints or inhibit range of movement in her extremities. She has a thin neck with slender shoulders, and an overall gentle appearance. She keeps her hair mid length in a bob, and wears simple clothing often in white.
Personality
In a single word overprotective would be a good way to describe her. To her everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and even then it's never too late to change. She wishes to ensure peace around her, and is well known for butting into places she isn't needed. While she most often holds to social structure like a normal person, she literally can't help herself from sticking her nose into other's problems. She'd butt into an argument without a second thought and give much more than her two cents. Caring, serene and careful. Three things she remains for very little. As soon as someone she deems her "child" is threatened she becomes a demon. She never lets her hurt or weakness show, and can never agree to being helped herself. Totally selfless in an unhealthy manor, she is constantly worn down by her own behavior.
Class
Mother: If the idea of someone being able to pull the unnatural power a mother can gain on a whim doesn't scare you, it will after you've met Alisse.
Strengths
Momma Bear: She is able to become physically stronger up to a mysterious though not unbeatable degree. She becomes able to survive harsh wounds and even heal others with a positive energy! Altogether she is the ultimate protector, and a very good ally to have; As long as you don't mind being treated like a spoiled kid. In addition to these abilities she is also adept at cleaning, cooking and general housework.
Weaknesses
Think Of The Children!: She is able to access a wide range of abilities! From healing, becoming physically powerful and resilient or moving incredibly fast. The catch as there always is; she has to be mothering to activate them. If she has no one to take care of she is just a mundane person. Sure she could thrash a bear if it threatened the target of her doting, but if she's targeted alone she's as good as dead. Not only this but she can only have one target "child" at one time. Switching targets takes effort and can only be done if the previous target is not at all threatened. This means she isn't as good at protecting or healing large groups. If she instead has absolutely no targets in sight then she becomes wracked with worry. Unless some sort of message is sent or tangible reason to gain a target from a long ways away, she is more than useless, and can't function until someone to care for strolls along. She is also unable to partake in actions that are particularly violent. She will gladly enter a fight, though killing is off the table, and anything that is needlessly harmful or destructive to persons places or things is not within her scope.
What were you doing when the princess was kidnapped?
Selling her famous cherry pie from her usual stall in the town square. For a fisherman who spends so much time braving the seas, he cannot take anything seriously for the life of him. Considering his demeanor, it's pretty difficult to find Bo with anything other than a stupid smile smeared across his dumb face. But don't let that fool you, this guy's main prerogative in life is to be in control of everything. That's just the way he likes it. Fortunately for him most things end up going his way. For a loudmouthed ass hat, he's pretty good at baiting others into his pace, whether it's through conversation or some exotic spear-play. Though Bo doesn't seem to care about anyone other than himself, he's quite kind to people who don't give him any reason not to be. It's a special type of kindness though, wherein he treats everyone like a child and maintains a very subtle aura of command. If somebody has to look out for the 'little people' it's definitely going to be the infamous fish-boy with a heart of copper and a tongue sharp enough to cut through paper. He's always looking out for others before looking out for himself. What bothers Bo more than anything else is when people act like they're on top of the world. He's terrible at following orders, especially when those orders are stupid. This is pretty hypocritical of him and he knows it, but it doesn't stop the guy from dousing arrogant twats in a swathe of sarcasm and belittlement, all while wearing a smug little grin. On the opposite end of the spectrum, he is terrible at taking compliments, however rarely they might come his way. Rather than pump up his ego even more, getting complimented actually makes him doubt himself and stumble over his own words like there's a wad of cotton lodged in his mouth. The more sincere and personal the compliment, the worse it is. Bo is especially bad at dealing with women who don't hate him. He's no stranger to rejection or negativity - It's almost like he sustains himself on it - but when it comes to flirting, he might as well be an Oyster. Even if that's the case, he's always fantasized about being somebody's prince charming. Of course, he'd never admit it.
Class
[abbr=A lancer wielding an affinity with water magic]Sea Lancer[/abbr]
Strengths
Bo has exceptional balance and excels at activities like acrobatics, climbing, handling large weapons, and swimming. With his lithe body frame and ability to handle pressure without much trouble, this fisherman keeps himself in one piece by shifting the tides of life in his favor. While he can't create water on his own, Bo can freely control liquids around himself as long as their volume is roughly 90% H2O or more. This doesn't work on water in the human body, or that of any living thing. Combining his attributes together, Bo's a tricky son of a bitch on his own, even more so if he's anywhere near a lake. Even a shallow puddle would allow him to pull off some nifty shenanigans.
Weaknesses
Despite his inherent agility and quick wit, Bo is built like a toothpick and has almost no pain tolerance. He cannot take a hit to save his life and lacks the fortitude to keep moving efficiently if any part of his body is in pain. Although he puts on a brave face, this makes him terrified of little knives and projectiles, considering how quickly they move. The last thing he wants to put up with is a hole in his stomach. If that wasn't terrible enough, Bo does not like blood in the slightest. Even though it's mostly a liquid substance, he can't use his magic to drain corpses like a psychotic vampire, and if he ends up covered in too much of the stuff, he'll start to panic like crazy. He's also too carefree for his own good, but it usually doesn't matter too much.
What were you doing when the princess was kidnapped?
As a fishermen who practically supports his entire family by capturing uh, fish, Bo was present near Gardenia's annual festival with his cart full of various sea creatures. The people of this royal city couldn't get enough of his pristine product, especially since he brought them into the city live and fresh. Do you know how much a sea-food connoisseur will pay for a mussel if you polish the shell a little and say it's magical? Enough. With his occupation keeping him close to the castle at the time of the princess' unfortunate kidnapping, Bo was one of the first people to respond! He just wasn't... Of course, it didn't seem all that heroic to others if a wild drunk started beating up trouble makers out of no where. But Greg never cared about his appearance. It was simply his way of life, and he got his job done. For the most part, anyway. He usually comes over as carefree and loud, but he's a good person. He can solidify some stone so strongly that it's as tough as steel, but only specific, smaller things. For example, he would not be able to make a stone wall as tough as steel. Being drunk also has it's benifits, making him more nimble at times to avoid attacks. His body is quite durable.
Weaknesses
He's got a heavy alcohol addiction, which can lead to violent screaming if he doesn't have his fill. She stands at 5’3” or so, which is about the average height of people from her hometown of Primrose, a large town in the province of Gardenia. She has light skin and blue-green eyes accompanied by the vestments and fashion of her faith. Sericea gives off a cheery disposition and she often finds her presence alone brings jollity to those around her.
[sub]Personality[/sub]
Despite her “cheery” appearance, Sericea is most certainly not the person people instantly presume her to be. The real Sericea is a conceited, sardonic, self-absorbed, smug, and sadistic woman who is pretty much the direct opposite of a quintessential cleric. Sericea hates people, especially when she sees actions she would deem as “idiotic” and “foolish”. She’s refused to heal people for failing to listen to her suggestions in the midst of a battle, charging in without a plan, and suffering from bad positioning when it came to a rogue wizard’s fire seal. Worst of all, she likes seeing people in pain so much that she relishes in their own misery to the point her expression turns gloomy with a twisted smile that is more befit of a necromancer or brewer of poisons than it would a cleric of the divine faith. She’s even on occasion caused someone pain personally before healing them.
[sub]Strengths[/sub]
A cleric of the divine faith is like the ancestral wizards that bore white, drawing energy from the holy magicks to protect and condemn others. Sericea is one of the finest clerics in all of Gardenia, though her abilities are often put into check by her particular personality. Other clerics have noted of her aptitude for healing energies of noteworthy praise and most presume she is a capable healer, or at least they do such before needing to rely on her in a fight.
[sub]Weaknesses[/sub]
Sericea is partial to being a problematic, sadistic, and bitter person; sometimes to the point of irrationality. She has no patience for people who do things “wrong” or those she believes inept in terms of intelligence or wisdom. Those who see this side of Sericea are likely to not appreciate her. Additionally, sometimes when pushed over the edge, Sericea relishes in the carnage and suffering of others so much that a gloomy, twisted smile and look appears on her face. Not really the expression you want to see from your cleric when you are bleeding out from a monster's axe.
[sub]What were you doing when the princess was kidnapped?[/sub]
Sericea had the unfortunate responsibility of looking after people after the attack happened. Standing at 5'8ft, she is considered fairly tall for a woman. In terms of clothing, she's always dressed in the finest silks, but she prefers to wear jewelry to a bare minimum, going for an elegant and effortless style. She walks and talks with her head held high, radiating confidence wherever she goes. You can tell from a glance that she doesn't just look the part, she feels it in her bones. People are naturally drawn to her because of her oozing confidence and charisma. Her curvaceous body has driven many impressive suitors to meet her, but she hasn't shown signs of interest in marriage. Alice's youthful beauty has been the talk of many women in town - more so out of envy rather than admiration. But it all changed after a certain..err..incident..where she tried to seduce a witch's husband. She didn't know he was married! Out of rage and spite, the witch put a powerful hex on Alice, trapping her in a child's body. From the moment the sun rises until it sets, Alice is forced to live her life as a flimsy child. As if that weren't cruel enough; the hex also worked as a magic suppressor, witholding most of her magical power and leaving it dormant. Alice's appearance during the day is that of a small, delicate child, with twig-like arms and legs. Her 4'10 frame often appears taller than it is, due to her tendency to hold herself up in a relatively superior manner amongst others. She doesn't do it in a purposefully condescending manner, it's just the way she is. The hex basically works to revert Alice back to her former (younger) self, so most of her features still remain the same. She has chocolate brown eyes, a narrow facial structure, and colorful tattoos around her ankles. Being a child doesn't stop Alice from keeping up with the lastest fashion trends. Her gentle eyes and soft smile gives others the impression that she is caring and sympathetic. But they couldn't be further from the truth. Alice is lackadaisical. She likes to take long naps during the day, and she cant be bothered with trivial things such as chores; she won't clean and cook to save her life. Her extremely laid-back nature can be quite problematic to those around her. But when it comes to having fun, nothing is really off the table for Alice. She has always been the flow with the wind kind of girl -- wherever that may take her. It hardly makes a difference to her as long as she has the essentials: food and sleep. The woman can be pretty smug for the most part. She knows she's good at what she does (when she decides to do it) and she never undermines herself or others. Alice is hardly ever critical and enjoys lavishing others with praises. Much truth can also be said regarding the opposite; she enjoys the lavish praises of others, maybe even a bit too much. Alice is completely capable of handling situations, but she'd rather leave others up to the task. She also likes to tease and make witty remarks, all in the name of good fun. Alice hardly ever displays emotions of sadness and anger, so it's hard to tell what's really underneath her carefree and cordial exterior.

▸ ▹ ► A b i l i t i e s

{Class}
Summoner; the ability to summon familiars, mythological beasts, and other magical beings.
{Strengths}
Before the whole ordeal with the witch and her malevolent spell, Alice was well known in Stigma as a young and talented summoner. At the age of ten, Alice was only able to summon low-born magical creatures (maximum of three at a time) like fairies who would cook and sweep the floor, and magical birds who would deliver packages, letters, or simply keep watch. Alice's magic is, unfortunately, suppressed even in her real form, only allowing her to summon three animal spirits at a time. There is a recovery period of about 3-4 hours, depending on the magical output. However, her magical abilities are the least of concerns, because Alice would rather relax and do nothing to help. She is lazy, after all, and she would most likely choose a nap over saving your ass. When facing a challenge she will keep bashing her head against the wall until the wall breaks. Having faced failure, time and time again, the one thing she won't do is give up, that's the only time she feels that she would really lose. But she's also not stupid and can be surprisingly devious when it comes to getting what she wants. Her upbringing in a ruthless tribe of hunters that follow a Stamen culture, that acknowledge strength and glory means she is not great when it comes to tact or sensitivity, but her blunt honesty can be surprisingly refreshing and potentially even more effective than any honey'd words.
Class
Hunter? Ranger? Beastmaster? Aren't they all the same thing?
Strengths
Having been raced with a ruthless tribe of mountain barbarians near Stamen, Sparrow is a hunter, scout, and beastmaster without peer. She claims to be able to shoot the wings off a fly at 100 paces, to be able to track a shark through water, or tame gods of the beast! She also claims to have trophies of those legendary deeds, but none so far have supported these claims. With her bow, short blade, leather bound buckler, and arsenal of trappers tools, she can hunt any quarry, turning their skin and organs into enchanted arms and armors that are not only powerful but fashionable. Shes also a regular outdoorswoman, able to thrive in the wild. Among her legendary talents, she rides into battle with her closest companion, a Griffin named Cinnamon. She act's as Sparrow's loyal steed, fearsome monster, and closest friend.
Weaknesses
Aside from the social stigma of being short, loud, and young, Sparrow has a bit of a Napoleon complex, believing she knows and is capable of more than she's actually capable of, and throwing a big tantrum when people either belittle her or don't listen to her. This will make Sparrow attempt to take on challenges that are grossly out of her league. Every time Sparrow tries to look cool, something always ruins it, or she screws up, souring her mood for days on end. Her temper gets the better of her and she will probably screw up more because of it, which makes her more and more frustrated, which makes her worse etc. Additionally her griffin Cinnamon is a literal bird brain. Won't follow basic instructions and gets Sparrow into trouble about as many times as she gets Sparrow out of it. Cinnamon has a really bad habit of pecking people she likes, or doesn't like. Well anything really.
What were you doing when the princess was kidnapped?
"What do you mean the princess was kidnapped? Do I know anything? Pssshhh no. What are you talking about? I was hunting in the Western Woods for the dreaded Ursa Major! Unsurprisingly, not only did I get the legendary beast, got his paw right here, I was on my way back to town for the festival dragging his carcass for all to see. Just a minor feat for the Greatest Hunter in the Realm! So obviously I would have been on the other side of the city. I mean, if those kidnappers came out through the Western Gate they would have ran right into me and that would have been the end of it lickety split. I mean who could possible escape the greatest pair of eagle eyed- Wha? They were seen going out the Western Gate? Oh. Well, lucky for them, we must have just missed eachother. Obviously. What are doing with those manacles? I told you I didn't see them!" His pale yet sinewy physique speaks of his training as an inquisitor, alongside the twisting scar which coils down from his nape to the ridges of his abdomen. Numerous slashes also litter his arms as if some feral beast scratched and tore at his flesh. His olive eyes often gaze at people with a half-lidded stare which complements his duty as an enforcer of the balance through neutrality. He does like to keep himself clean-shaven, and as such, his face is almost always clean. Additionally, Azadun stands at an average five-foot-eight.
Personality
Azadun sees the world as black and white-- evil and good. There are no grey areas, because he believes that once people start making exemptions, those same cracks will be the same crevices from which evil festers. The scales of justice dictate his views on the people around him as the scales weigh in the same manner regardless of one's standing. Due to this perspective, Azadun clashes easily with people who do anything, good or bad, that will cause a backlash of evil against others. He is vocal of his accusations and perspectives, and will often deliver judgement on his own. Complementing this is his unrelenting drive to purge all evil from the face of Gardenia. Once he decides to pursue something or someone, there is little anyone can do to dissuade or veer him away from his tunneling vision and psyche. But, deep inside, the inquisitor is often conflicted when delivering justice on the unfortunate. At times, he questions his beliefs-- what would really be heavier, doing the right action or the lawful one? Such questions usually plague the recesses of Azadun's mind, but before anything else, he is truly unbiased and neutral when viewing the world through the lens of the cold, hard law.
Class
Manhunter - Inquisitor
Strengths
Heartlight Forge - Azadun's affinity for magic allows him to manipulate the light around him with his very own energy. With this, he is able to craft weapons from light itself. Whether it be a sword or a spear, Azadun needs only his imagination to procure a weapon of his choosing. However, it should be noted that he can only craft a weapon that he has already thoroughly studied. Which means, he cannot craft weapons that he has just seen once. Since this ability is highly dependent on his energy, the more fatigued he is, the weaker the weapon will be-- to the point that if he creates a sword while exhausted, the sword would be so dull that it won't even nick exposed flesh. Of course, he is able to create multiple weapons at once, but the more he creates, the less the quality would be as opposed when he only creates a single sword with a great amount of energy. Weapons Adept - As a trained fighter, Azadun is capable of fighting with varied weapons. From chains to swords to bows, he is decent in using them. However, he is more of a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none type of fighter as he would inevitably lose to a master swordsman when he fights with a blade. Survival and Medical Skills - One needs to know how to survive when hunting down criminals. As such, Azadun is also trained in first-aid techniques, though, anything greater than a minor wound would be out of his grasp. His survival skills allows him to adapt to a number of environments with little problems, though, extended exposure to dangerous surroundings will definitely end him.
Weaknesses
Cursed Scar - The twisting scar was dealt to him by a witch he was hunting down in the past. Though Azadun brought the witch to justice, he was afflicted with a curse which debilitated his health. Currently, Azadun may experience bouts of violent coughs which scrapes his throat. His body may also weaken due to this chronic illness which intensifies the more stressed the inquisitor gets. It is unknown if the curse can be lifted. Narrow-Minded - With his beliefs enshrined mostly in the law, Azadun can be narrow-minded and would often refuse to listen to reasons which he believes is evil incarnate itself. This makes him unwilling to cooperate once he begins clashing in ideals with a companion, and would often lead him to accusing the person with crimes. Heartlight Limit - Since his magical affinity relies on light, once the sun sets or in complete darkness, his ability becomes nigh on useless. What were once swords of mithril would become potato carvers when summoned in the tendrils of night. What were once arrows of glinting steel would become dull needles when crafted within the shadows' cloak.
What were you doing when the princess was kidnapped?
After bringing in a criminal to the Hall of Justice which stood beside the western gate, Azadun had walked outside of the great stone halls. As he rested against one of the circular pillars which held up the stone roof of the hall, his eyes caught sight of one of the merchants delivering the new silver scales that would be used in the future trials as decoration. He remembered marveling at the ornate scales with etchings of dragons engraved on its base and arms. It was a beautiful thing worthy of his attention as he mused on the symbolism of such objects when placed within the halls of justice. Just as he finished his soliloquy of pretentious symbols and meanings, his eyes widened at the sight of a group of brigands speeding through the western gate, but not before snatching the scale from the merchant's hands. Azadun had sprang towards the thieves, but a sudden bout of his knee-buckling illness brought Azadun to his knees as he toppled face-first on the stone pavement. His mouth opened in voiceless coughs as his throat screamed in pain from the rabid bouts of air being dragged out of his lungs. The last sight he witnessed before passing out was a woman flailing in the arms of the brigands before the shadows took him into a dreamless world of worry and doubt.

Mordame The Dishonourable
Logical ♦ Has a realistic outlook on life ♦ Tries to make sure the job he gets is done. ♦ Severe OCD Name Mordame is what people call him, though that isn’t his real name. Age 24 Appearance He has pitch black hair, green eyes, a goatee, and ascar on his right cheek. He stands at 5’6” and has a relatively thin build. He has a staff made from an oak branch, with a gem on top. He wears grey and black robes. He also carries a book full of necromantic rituals he keeps in a pouch. Personality Mordame is a logical kind of guy, he believes that not everything has a meaning, and that necromancy shouldn’t be looked down on. The “dishonourable” title comes from the fact that he’s a necromancer. Mordame is the type of guy to keep his friends close and his enemies dead. Mordame, of course, hails from Stigma, being a magic user and all. He discovered necromancy when he was 13 years old, and has been practicing ever since. Mordame is a man who makes sure everything is PERFECT. If he sees a painting crooked or a dusty room, he will go out of his way to fix it, even if it means he has to stop a very important task; Many people came over to his tower in the past, expecting a disgusting, shabby environment, but were surprised to see that he makes sure it is SPOTLESS with everything sorted. Class Necromancer : Can use spells and rituals to raise the dead to fight for him. Strengths Mordame is good with staves and casting spells, he can of course raise the dead, he also utilises weak lightning spells if his undead thralls don’t do the trick. Mordame has spent his life studying necromancy, so he knows the ins, outs, lefts, rights, ups, downs, etc. He is also able to speak to the dead, though this can only happen when a certain ritual is performed, he can do it nonetheless. This ability can give his group insight or information on the task at hand. This ritual can only happen once a day, so he has to choose wisely who to speak to. Weaknesses Mordame can only have 3 thralls at a time, and he can’t cast anything other than weak lightning spells and necromantic spells. He sometimes loses control of his minions, though this happens rarely. This happened when he was 17, hence the nasty scar. He is also not very good at speaking to people, as he spends alot of his time in solitude in his tower. His OCD. If he was hunting someone down, and he saw a poorly made table, he would stop whatever he’s doing and fix it. What were you doing when the princess was kidnapped? During the festival, I was looking for a new staff, that’s when I heard all the commotion and I went to check it out. Once I got out, I saw some bandits carrying some lady, I couldn’t make out who she was because of the crowd, but she looked rich.
