I think he is powerful enough. With all the characters taken into account, Ulysses has the second strongest strength (only Icon has more, if we go by how much they can lift. This also not counting the magical users, whose strength levels vary due to their magic). He has the most Endurance, he's trained in combat, when all of our "Hero" affiliated characters are untrained (although the walking the line characters have equal or more training), and he has the most resources. But I agree with Marx about balancing. We don't want a character who can't be killed [b]AND[/b] can blow all of our characters up.
