Ambrose stared back at the male in front of him, searching for something, but he wasn't sure what. "I don't know if we're going to win this battle..." He swallowed thickly and dropped his gaze to their clasped hands, "I can't go into that without being honest. It would be a lie to say I've never felt something for you, and still do feel for you." Ambrose shook his head, "I can't understand your past, not yet at least, but I can't go on and keep ignoring my actual feelings." Ambrose fell silent, surprised at himself to let everything just spill out. But it felt good, like a weight was lifted off his shoulders. With the sun beating down on the two, Ambrose moved with slow and hesitant movements. Ambrose moved his face closer, head tilting slightly to the right pressing his own lips against Caleb's. He was tentative, and gentle, as well as uncertain. Ambrose didn't know if this was the right thing, if he was just being selfish. But right in this moment, he just wanted to give in.
