Yoshimi is a very kind, intelligent, gentle and cheerful girl. She has plenty of friends in her current school. Though a portion of them just take advantage of her kindness(they ask her to do their homework for them, though that's mostly the boys). She's a rather social person and usually hangs out with her friends when their classes are over, usually going to the mall, to the park, to a fast food restaurant or, at occasion, to karaoke bars. She likes to sing and has quite the talent.

Yoshimi's clan resides in the shrine located in Osaka. She had a rather normal childhood. She was, and still is, a shrine maiden in their manor. She took a liking to spears when she read a picture story about her clan and how they used spears to fight off monsters. She was amazed at how they handled those weapons with so much grace and dexterity. She decided that she wanted to be like them so she tried to make a makeshift spear made entirely out of wood. She trains with it everyday and is quite skilled with it.[/center]
