Circumstance: Callum is the youngest son to King Brandon and Queen Madeleine of Junia. With three older brothers, Callum knew his chances of ever becoming king were slim to none. Which worked out for him, honestly. He was awarded all of the luxuries of a King but suffered few of the hardships. Naturally, Callum grew up spoiled no harm could be done to or by the little Prince in either of his parents eyes. When he was 12 his father had taken not of his slight mean streak and decided to prune him to become Master of Courts when his eldest brother, Aland, stepped in as king. His job would be to oversee all trials, insuring the result that best benefited the realm was met. He would also be in charge of making sure that the proper punishments went to the correct prisoners.

Circumstance: Brandon is the current ruler of Junia, of which he inherited from his father. He has been married to his wife, Madeleine for 32 years. The two have five children together, 1 daughter and 4 sons. Brandon is known for his fairness and generosity even amongst the lowliest and least deserving in his realm.

Circumstance: Madeleine is the youngest of the 13 children born to the previous king of Amil, Junia's neighbour. While she loves her husband now, their marriage was one of politics and had been decided before she was even born. However their 32 years together have been happy ones. Madeleine is renowned for her beauty and youthful appearance.

Name: Queen Consort Mereya Gower nee Truett of Evan

Circumstance: Mereya is the oldest child and only daughter to King Brandon and Queen Madeleine of Junia. At 16 she was married to King Berian Gower of Evan, a cruel and loveless man, for whom she has bore 3, and buried 2, children. 2 daughters, whom both passed shortly after birth from unknown causes, and a son who his currently 1 year old. Since her marriage Mereya has only seen her parents and siblings on their rare visits to Evan. Her youngest brother Callum, was only 4 when she married and as such they hardly known one another.

Circumstance: Aland is the oldest son to the King and Queen of Junia and the one slated to take over the royal title when his father passes or abdicates. He currently serves as the Duke of Hillminster Aland has been married twice, his first wife died during labour almost 9 months to the day after their wedding. The child did not survive, he remarried shortly thereafter to his second wife Seren, the two have been wedded for 9 years however remain childless.
