[indent]Raised as a boy from another culture, life seemed strange to Klaus Ebner.  Many of the town's inhabitants followed a different set of social standards from those of his house.  Over time, he would learn to play both sides when they were needed.  Unfortunately, he was treated as an outsider by the other children, and trying to find some escape from the pressure, he took to helping out a Serf outside of the city who took care of horses.  Here, he learned how to ride, tame, and take care of horses.  His father, proud that he had found a passion, supported his son in his pursuit of taking care of horses.  The peace and content would be short-lived, as a foreign invasion would find it's way to the city.  While the promise of keeping the people together and tightening their bonds was promising to the Ebner family, regardless of culture or heritage, they would soon find that mercenaries and guards were allowed to do as they please.  Eventually, many of the inhabitants, including Klaus's father, would rise up in protest.  Here, Klaus experienced the horror of violence, as his father and the unruly crowd were arrested and hung.  To add insult to injury, Klaus was a part of a large conscription of youth to help keep the city in line, as many had fallen defending it from the foreign invaders.  Now working as a local guard and soldier, Klaus sees little opportunity to escape his life, and instead looks towards seeking vengeance in any way possible - by killing the puppet Prince destined to betroth the Princess.[/indent]

[indent]Young and hot-headed, Klaus is typical of a young boy seeking his place in the world.  With the death of his father and the forced conscription placed on him, he has developed a seething attitude towards the foreign invaders, but is frustrated by his inability to do anything about it.  His fiery attitude has earned him a nickname from guards and townsfolk alike, calling him the 'Little Wolf.'[/indent]
