Name: Laura Kinney-Howlett Alias: Talon, X-23. Age: 28 - looks 19. Gender: Female Powers: Healing factor - hyper metabolism. Immune to most diseases, increased strength, agility, and endurance. Can heal through just about anything, including the Legacy Virus. There are still plenty of ways to kill her...good luck executing them. She has superhuman tracking ability and hyper-senses (Smell, sight, taste, etc.) as a result of the hyper metabolism. She was born with bone claws, two in each hand and one in each foot. All six claws are coated in adamantium, but her skeleton is not. Personality: Her personality and sense of self has grown and flourished since finding herself and learning more of choice and, generally just being allowed to grow. She's a lot like Wolverine, sort of cold and distant, but with a warm undertone. She still has trouble empathizing sometimes, but she understands pain and happiness very well and will do her best to help the people around her. Bio: A deep, dark bloodstain represents her past and not all of it is hers. She's killed for The Facility and for the X-Men, for herself and for others. She was used for a weapon by various controllers, even used as a prostitute - she didn't see the difference. Still, the love and support she received from the friends she didn't realize she had had shone through. In little epiphanies, revelations and hard work she found, on the hunt for her soul, that she was much more than just an experiment. That all the pain and anger she'd felt was a symbol of humanity...as well as the restraint and kindness and the will to do right. She learned through pain how precious life is and few people have ever had to experience the pain that she went through; and all that she would go through again to make sure people never had to experience it. Years later and after much self-discovery, she found a place back at the Mansion. She'd served as an Avenger and as a vigilante for some time. She'd traveled around the world, but found a place working with her adoptive father (and genetic progenitor). Old friends had come and gone, new ones were made. Comfort and openness she never knew existed in her childhood came easily to her, she changed from the shell of a person she thought herself to be, to a comfortable...almost personable (she's definitely still her adoptive father's genetic clone), young woman. For the last few years at the Mansion X has taken to teaching, picking up where Wolverine left off (or collaborating with) for more combat and survival oriented classes and field exercises.
