She assumed that meant more guests, namely the ones who were actually invited to this event, had arrived. She brushed it off though, as once again outside factors mattered little to her at the moment. She slowly walked around one of the billiards table, lightly trailing her fingers across its surface. She finally came to a stop, leaning back against it. Her dark eyes brightened when they came up to see that Cobalt had decided to join her after all. "Finally, some alone time," she remarked, pausing to glance over at the servant girl who was also occupying the room. "Well, save for one. But, regardless, it's better than we've had thus far." She pushed away from the table to leisurely stroll over to him. "I'm going to be straight with you. Unlike the majority of this lot, you intrigue me, very much," she explained, stopping just a few feet in front of him. They were roughly the same height, so she didn't have to crane her head up much to meet his gaze head-on. She seemed to search for something in his eyes for a moment, but it was hard to tell if she had found exactly what she was looking for before she began to speak again. "By the looks of things, we could use an ally in this place," she continued, resting a hand on his chest. "The question is will you make it worth my while?"
