	The Hyperion System, an unfathomably large area of the Attican-Beta wing of the Milky Way is well known within the Imperium of Man for its great importance in many areas. It is home to hundreds of planets that scope all categories of the Imperium’s worlds. The Planetary Governors who reign upon each planet have ensured that they carry out each of their precise designations, and do so with pride and iron will, guided by the God Emperors hand. 

Among these hundreds of planets is Erathell. Part Civilized world, part Garden world, alongside being the home world of the system, it is also known for the political power of those who rule over it, and the sway they hold over the rest of the Hyperion System. It is lavishly decorated, very well designed, considered grandiose by many, and highly protected. Aside all of this, there are whispers of corruption, from either Xenos, Heretics, Mutants, or far worse upon Erathell that run through Hyperion. Some even say that that a group of unknown Chaos forces have made their way into the system and have replaced important figures who hold positions of great power.

These rumors are spreading paranoia and distrust among many who call it their home. Some have even spoken of the forces of Chaos influencing the powerful political figures and their minions, leading to assumptions of Chaos Cults being embedded somewhere within Hyperion. From this unrest, the seeds of heresy grow, spreading through the systems occupants like a plague, guided by an unseen force. 

One of the few planetary governors who have not fallen to ignorance and arrogance, has seen what is surely inevitable, and has now called upon the forces of the Imperium of Man to assist in eliminating the threat and restoring balance before Hyperion is lost. 

There is no time to plan, there is no space to think. No respite. No forgiveness. For in the Grim Dark Future, There is only war.

Hello and thank you for your interest in, Warhammer 40k: Enigmas of the Warp. This is a high-casual to low-advanced RP that takes place in the Warhammer 40k Universe. Please keep in mind that this will not be a 100% lore accurate RP, but I will do my best to make it fit in with the current lore to the best of my abilities. I will be playing the part of Celestian Superior Andromedai Morgenstern, the leader of the Inquisitorial retinue that the rest of you will be part of. Along with intense combat, story building, and moments of planning, I also have time set back for our characters to get to know each other. In some cases, the choices that your characters make in certain situations will have an effect on the area around them, the people around them, and the story as a whole. 

Our story will begin while on board Andromedai's personal and heavily customized gunship, known as the Typhon. Our first destination is the Planet Erathell, within the Hyperion system. Erathell serves as the hub of the system and houses a number of very high ranking officials from all positions within the Imperium of Man. The choices made upon Erathell effect not only the Hyperion system but also dozens of other nearby systems. 

There is word that a group of unknown Chaos forces have made their way into Hyperion and have replaced important figures who hold positions of great power within. Due to this, Celestian Superior Andromedai Morgenstern has hand picked a squad to accompany her to Hyperion to root out the Chaos corruption and return the system to its formal state before any irreversible damage may occur. If this mission should fail, the repercussions could ripple through the Imperium of man, in many severe and untold ways.
