Ursa shrugged nonchalantly with a cheeky smile on her face, her eyes returning to her book. She didn’t take compliments well, her expression awkward, “I have a good crew..” Before Cel could respond to her warning his vid com went off. Ursa laughed, moving to her book as she began to read again. She usually would try to listen in to Cel’s conversation and try to get some snippets of what was going on, but today she couldn’t be bothered. She had stolen enough to make her quite a bit of coin. Jerry would be pleased and her crew would be fed. She noted Cel looking at her, and wink. She shook her head and took a sip of her beer her eyes turning back to the girl in the corner. She was curious as to why she was here alone, or why she would risk her safety in such a way. She looked back to Cel, pulling off her baseball cap to brush her teal hair off her face. She flipped the cap backward and continued reading. When Cel put the vid com down she turned her eyes to him and shrugged, “I’ll be around for another night, and think about what I said. Opportunities man. Don’t waste them.” She watched him bow and take her hand. She laughed as he kissed it, learning that no matter how much she protested that she wasn’t the type of broad who needed the attention, it was easier to just let Cel be the gentleman he was. She gave him a wave as he walked off, out of her sightline. She felt eyes on her and turned to see the girl’s face staring directly at hers. She smiled awkwardly waving slightly when her own vidcom went off. She tapped her ear chip so that only the audio would turn on, “You get the books you wanted?” She smiled hearing Mac’s voice, “Most of them. Did the fuel-up take long?” “Easy. Peasy. We should have enough to get us to 7 now. We left the flyer, so you could meet us on the way back.” She lifted her beer and put it back down, “Good. That’s good. Oh..big news on the Yakuza front. Asterik’s dead.” Mac grunted, “Good. That man was a pig.” Ursa shrugged, “He got shot by an angry woman…” Mac was silent for a few minutes, “You don’t think they..” Ursa’s voice turned very serious, “Oh I definitely think so.” “You didn’t tell him did you.” She looked down at her book, then at her board to the side of her, “No. I ain’t getting involved in gang business. I did tell him about the Draconians and threw in a snippet of the Italians. For old times sake. The Yakusa brings us good business, and if Cel is going to be the next leader. I want to be the first person he calls with a job.” “Alright. Captain. Just be careful. If he finds out you had something and you didn’t share, that relationship could change fast.” She nodded, grabbing her board as she pulled out a few kredits leaving them on the table as a tip, “If there is one thing I know how to do Mac, it’s keep a secret. Now get back to work. Ya lazy shit.” He laughed, “Take your own advice, BOSS. I’ll contact you tomorrow.” She smirked, “Bye.” She was just about to head towards the door when a waitress came over, letting her know that Cel wanted her to come to see him. She was surprised to hear he hadn’t left yet and followed her towards a table where she could clearly see Cel. She looked down at her book and held up a finger-walking over to the girl's table. She gave her a smile and placed it down, “Hi. Noticed you were looking at it. I finished so..enjoy.” She waved kindly before she headed back to the table, where another dude in a bomber jacket, faced the other way. She waved to Cel with a questioning face when the young man turned to look at her. She froze for a split second, as the world turned slow, Cutting Crew’s, “Dying in Your Arm’s Tonight” flashed in her brain. She blinked and the feeling simmered down, enough to realize she was just standing there looking like she was hit with a brick. She realized she was being awkward so she walked the rest of the way and stopped to look down at Cel, “I thought you left?” She took a minute then turned to the new young man, her yellow eyes looking over him, as she wished she didn't look like a college kid who just rolled out of bed. She blushed, although she didn’t turn away, remaining confident as usual, “I’m hoping he hasn’t promised you anything. I ain’t cheap.”
