Well Golden boy is... basically a bit of an American Pie mini Series but an Anime. I believe their are only like seven episodes in total.

I also like Darker than Black (1st season, 2nd was a let down for me) and an amazing combat series called Moribito. It's not a naruto kind of fighting series, it actually tries to be dam good and pulls it off with a great story to boot.
