Sorry about the absence, yesterday had me entirely occupied and then of empty batteries. But I'm recharged now so it's back to it.

I was going to be doing that :). Especially with how Hydra Tongue is made up of a bunch of previous dark guild members. I'm sure that they had goals that didn't get fulfilled and now they have more opportunity. Plus Dark Guild members generally join for their own goals more so than the goal of the guild itself.
I just had wanted to come up with an overall idea or two that they could be headed towards that most members could likely get behind, and give a main goal to rally around.
