THE FOG OF THE LAKE
Queensborough Maine is a place that time seems to have forgotten. Nothing spectacular about this small town attracts tourists except that it is conveniently located for making a stop to rest. The buildings there still seem like they are from the 19th century. The town hall is made up of beautifully sculpted stone with a trimming of dark wood. Queensborough hasn’t been safe from modernization as the newer homes seem more out of place then the originals. If it wasn’t for the tourists who actually went missing, then Queensborough would have remained quiet and tame. Three people disappear one foggy night, footprints just seeming to stop in mid stride. No other tracks in sight. These stories attracted more tourists, hunters, and private investigators. Nobody could predict the horrors that the fog held. It was speculated at one point that the lake was incredibly irradiated, but no evidence supported the thought. Sightings of people standing in the fog, making crying noises and calls for help. The town if Queensborough blocked off the lake, warning people to stay away due to the density and possibilities of getting lost. A private investigator disappeared one day, only to be found with what looked like stab wounds and 3rd degree burns located all over his body, a week later. Miraculously, he survived only to disappear the following night. ------
CHARACTER SHEET
Name: Age: Gender: Appearance: Biography (If living in Queensborough): Intentions (What is your Reason for coming to Queensborough):
