The pleasant meal was interrupted by folks screaming outside. "Son of a bitch... I swear, it's always when things calm down th-" Kirugetsu's Water Clone was instantly dissipated and he stood up from the table to walk outside. In all their walking around, Kirugetsu hadn't realized just how close Toko's was to the hospital. They had turned down alleys, doubled back a couple times, criss-crossed streets, and ended up there by chance. Just as he walked out, a blur of a man rushed by him. For the briefest of instants, the Hozuki's eyes met with the one who made the blur. ... Hayato? Running AWAY from screaming people? Something didn't add up here. "Maruki, get the rest to go. Something just came up and my guess is we're the closest to the scene." Not waiting more than five seconds for his student, Kirugetsu rushed to the hospital he had just come from not an hour earlier. There were stunned onlookers staring in one specific direction. If rubber-neckers were good for anything, it was telling people where the action was without saying a word. After running to where they were staring, Kirugetsu became aware of an injured Konoha shinobi. "Of course he did... Dammit. And there's no fucking way I'm catching him now. Dammit." Reflexively and out of pure frustration, Kirugetsu slammed his mighty fist into the small storage shed next to where he stood. Normally, a Jounin's blow would dent the wall. Kirugetsu not only knew Arhat Fist, which increased his striking power... but had instinctively made a brief activation of the Hozuki Clan's Great Water Arm jutsu. The small room nearly imploded from the force of the punch. Kirugetsu had been right there, seen the culprit flee, and done nothing to stop him. And now, he was free in the world instead of in chains and headed to the Blood Prison. The kid didn't seem to be TOO badly hurt, considering the fall and the fact it was Hayato who flipped his lid and attacked her... but she'd still require medical treatment. "Kid, you alright? Hey, talk to me." honestly, Kirugetsu sucked at medicine, and was too focused on his frustration to really take note of the girl's injuries. "Someone get a medic over here NOW!" ... the shouting was unnecessary, as a pair of doctors were already walking up with a trio of nurses in tow who were carrying medical instruments and such. Hopefully the girl wasn't too bad off. That was the thought that occupied the Jounin's mind as he slammed his head against a nearby wall. He'd had the chance to stop Hayato when the bastard pissed him off not even a day earlier! He could have said it was a friendly spat gone awry! But instead, they had exchanged blows and then split up. The most typical of sparring sessions... could have had a slight twist, and a young shinobi wouldn't have been hurled out a window and attacked by that crazy asshole. Kirugetsu KNEW that the war had been tough on Hayato... but for the guy to snap THAT badly, not even Kirugetsu, who had been through two wars and seen much more death, would ever attack an ally in such a manner. He would pay.
