I could see Sylvia and Lhoren being close. Both second years in House of Ivar. Both late bloomers when it came to manifesting gifts so they're both *old* for second years. 

I could see Sylvia trying to prank Lhoren but because she was thinking about the prank, Lhoren susses her out and goes "Hey, you weren't trying to prank me with this, right? You wouldn't do that, would you?"
