Lio was a little put off when the man in the mask simply answered I do. If Robin was testing him as a potential member of the Titans, then he would score low in friendliness. Still, he did seem to be a fellow hero, so Lio gave him a pass. Seeing that no one was answering the door, Lio pulled out his key card, given to him by Robin only about a week ago. Lio guessed that meant he might be moving past the probationary stage of his membership. But before he could swipe his pass, the door opened to reveal Starfire, the bubbly orange-skinned alien Titan. However her greeting showed no awareness of who Lio was. The young scientist sighed. Was he really such a minor member of the team that the others didn’t even remember him? Granted he didn’t think he had even had a conversation with Starfire herself before. Most of his time at the tower was talking to Robin about the team or with Cyborg about technology. Still he smiled, and tried to make it look like he belonged here. The other hero who had the appointment stated that he didn’t know Lio, which was far as Lio also had no idea who this other man was. Still they entered the tower together, following behind Starfire. The alien warrior stated that Robin was expecting this man, apparently called Grazer. So they might actually might be getting another new team member. Starfire then turned to Lio and asked if he also had business with Robin. “Not exactly,” replied Lio, “I guess you don’t recognize me. I’m Pulse. Green Lantern made me join you guys as a probationary member a few weeks ago. I know I haven’t been around here much, since I decided to stay at my apartment then move in. But I am a Titan, or at least a probationary one.” By now they were in the kitchen, Starfire offering food and drink. Lio politely turned her down, still a little miffed about her forgetting that he existed. Just then a Titan named Alrick and another unknown woman emerged into the kitchen. The woman introduced herself as Alrick’s cousin from Seattle. While they didn’t look anything a like, Lio couldn’t question it as we a lot paler than the rest of his family and tribe. Remembering why he came to the area, Lio asked, “So has anyone seen anything weird around here. I was tracking some kind of temporal event that originated near here. So has anyone seen any cavemen running around or older versions of people trying to change the past?” It was an outlandish question, but the data at S.T.A.R. labs backed it up. Something had pulled open time and space for a few seconds within a mile of Titans Tower. Lio really wanted to talk to Robin about it, but it seemed that Grazer had first dibs on meeting with the Titans’ team leader.
