It seemed like Lily wanted to gather everyone in the park and have them take part in the battle against Wonderland. Ronin slapped her cheeks. ‘Alright! Let’s go!’ Ronin grinned and stood up, smiling so brightly as she prepared to depart. They’d spent the last couple days tracking down anyone who knew Sakura and informing them what happened, only going into detail about how exactly if asked of if the other person was particularly close to her, before finally burying her by an actual cherry blossom tree, for that was probably what she would have wanted. Unless someone else more worthy of it took her off their hands. Miko looked at Ronin beaming like normal, and she couldn’t help but worry. ‘Dear sister… Are you okay?’ Miko asked, moving closer to Ronin. Ronin, understanding where Miko was coming from, turned and continued beaming at her. ‘I’m okay! Sure, some parts of my mind linger on the event, but I refuse to be sad forever! The people of Penrose need me as I am! The more happy people there are, the better! So come now, sister! Let us save Penrose!’ Ronin told, holding out a hand for her sister. A bit relieved, Miko took her hand. ‘Yeah… Let’s.’ With that, hand in hand, the two twins made their way for Penrose Park. __________________ Mariette was sitting quietly, reading. She was sitting inside Taihei’s workshop, where the Artificer was working on something at her request. What she was reading were the copied pages of the Queen of Wonderland's notebook, which Mariette had stolen, copied and then redelivered as quickly as possible through portal, hoping said queen would not realize it was ever gone. Reading these pages... ‘So that's it...’ Mariette muttered. It wasn't much she could really do with the information, even telling others about it felt relatively useless, so she'd rather not so she wouldn't prove to the queen that she read her notebook. Still, it was enlightening about the whole situation of "Alice". Not much she could use it for, but it was enlightening. She was actually here because she'd tasked Taihei to make something for her. In fact, ‘They’re ready,’ Taihei told, picking up her new invention… a couple pages of paper, to hand over to Mariette. Her own magical protection protected her from the numerous paper-cuts the pages tried to give her. ‘Thank you. Do they work as intended?’ Mariette asked, accepting the papers and looking down at them. ‘They do,’ Taihei said, not noticing how a bolt on her forge was slowly dislodging. ‘If you write a message on these papers, only the person the message is intended for will be able to read it. If that someone then signs the paper, you will feel it. The paper will then burn itself. Perfect for secret messages, I guess,’ Taihei said. ‘Good. Now, it is imperative that you do not tell anyone you made these for me, even our friends and allied here at the base. It is a task from Asengav that holds utmost secrecy,’ Mariette lied. ‘Yeah, sure,’ Taihei replied, not really caring. ‘Alright. I will leave you to your current work, then,’ Mariette said, turning around and walking through a portal to her room. Behind her a bolt sprung loose from Taihei’s forge, somehow hitting something vulnerable and causing a giant magical explosion and bathing the room in lava. Taihei stood in the middle of it, unharmed, unbothered, and started using her Gravity magic to clean up. Mariette, meanwhile, arrived to her room where she’d left her phone, something she’d been doing a lot to make sure her information girl couldn’t always track her motions. Still, she arrived to her phone getting messages. She picked it up, saw numerous messages about a supposed gathering… Penrose Park. Just like the first time she saw everyone. Fine, then. Mariette immediately opened a portal and stepped out into an apartment overlooking the park. She opened numerous portals to her eye behind the eyepatch to scout around. She’d come down when more people arrived, but for now, she simply wanted to find anyone peeking at this scene. All the major powers of Penrose gathered at one location was a prime spot for a lethal attack, after all, if it came to it.
