And while he might have had something to say about that, a different conversation also caught his ear.

This time it was between the lion man and the two "bandits" who turned out to just be peasants. The lion man seemed to think they could just venture out into the jungle and hunt for food. And when the two men rightfully pointed out that they weren't trained hunters, the little girl piped up with a response of her own. This... was also facepalm-inducing. Plus Shang had to fight the urge to notice that it was two young [i]women[/i] making such naive-sounding remarks.
