Or the Archailects of Orion's Arm since they deploy shit like [url=https://www.orionsarm.com/eg-article/480a48b000f5b]this[/url] in wars with other AI controlled polities. Well, that and the fact that anything that high up on the sophont intelligence scale can just hack and shutdown the Replicator network with the same ease that we might flick a light switch.

It's kind of hard to fight an AI god whose "body" is a civilization which spans incomprehensible swathes of space after all.
