Sam was a few years older than Janette, and they initially hit it off when they met one day at the local bar. Their romance was passionate and short lived when Janette had learned that Sam had cheated, and had had a child with another woman. [*]Cole remained close with his mother his whole life, spending every weekend at her house. [*]Born and raised in a small Texas town until his step-mothers career moved the family to Palm Beach when Cole was entering Sophomore year. [*]His high-school life was fairly plain Jane. He never cared much for the academic side of things, but he was surprised that things like math and history came to him easily. Played as a defensive lineman on the football team, and was a more of a background character at the party scene. Cole enjoyed having a few drinks and grilling out for his fellow classmates when he could. [*]Cole’s father always wanted him to be a lawyer, but Cole had always planned to take care of the family ranch after graduation. The young man never went to college, and instead moved back to Texas shortly after graduation. Since then, he’s worked on keeping the ranch in order. He makes a small profit from the ranch by selling cattle & horses, and the ranches (small and new) clothing line. The majority of Coles personal money comes from his career as a professional bull rider with the PBR. He went pro at the age of 24. [*]Likes a good scotch, but has never partaken in the devils lettuce [s]though the thought has absolutely crossed his mind[/s]. [*]Was raised by a traditional cowboy to be a traditional cowboy. Believes in hard work, giving you the shirt of his own back, and is honestly one of the least judgemental people that you’ll ever meet. [*]Cole and Avery’s relationship was full of love and rivalry while growing up. He’s sure that Avery hated him for the majority of their childhood, but honestly - that girl is his biggest weakness.
