I think I've got an idea ready, but I have to ask: How wacky are we allowed to go with the Augmented Armors? Like, does any Gundam series provide plausible examples, or would G Gundam, for example, be a bad match? 
(I know little about Armored Core, so I don't know if that would answer my question better.)
