Byjerlfal City, Camphor’s lab
[@XxFellsingxX][@Savo][@Thayr][@Pyromania99] [@Crimson Flame][@Theyra][@Bartimaeus][@VitaVitaAR][@Crusader Lord][@PKMNB0Y] “Hmm…” Camphor quickly checked the time on her phone, frowning lightly before shaking her head. “Okay, times up! Everyone get your butts back over here!” Camphor shouted to everyone present. “Hope you did everything you wanted to here, cuz we’re done. Just one more thing i need to give everyone. Frieda?” “Right, professor here.” Frieda got everyone's attention. “So, something the Professor has been working tirelessly on to help prepare everyone is a special type of pokedex.” The assistant would pull several sleek, green and black objects from a bag she was carrying. Smooth, rectangular and about the size of the palm of one's hand but about an inch thick. “It can scan pokemon from a fair distance, and has a near permanent uplink to the database here at the professors lab, and comes with a bunch of other functions. Weather, map, functions as a phone - and a direct line to Camphor if you need her for anything.” “Please hesitate to call me. In fact, don’t even think about it.” “E-erm well, it also has a virtual assistant that can and should help assist you with any questions and be able to answer most things on the fly. Its an incredibly robust system I helped create so I hope its useful to you all.” “Its also programmed with your trainer IDs, and will function as a Level 1 Research ID. That is, you can freely access the lab and anywhere on the Ground floor here in the lab and a few other labs across Eidda.” Camphor interjected. “The lab in Mireth comes to mind as well as the Mexatus Institute. It has box access and we can remotely give you your pokemon at any point, supposing the connection is good enough. Don’t go to some powerfully electromagnetically charged area or super far underground, or extremely rural area and expect it to work. Essentially, anywhere with wireless access it should work. Now if everyone would register your devices, Frieda or Camilia can help once you do-” Richards’ device was the first to spring to life. A little chibi of someone that looked suspiciously like Camphor popped up on screen along with a bevy of information regarding his recently acquired pokemon. Snivvy, the grass snake pokemon. A pokemon characterized by its small arms, stubby feet, and leaf-like tail. Often proud in nature, they are commonly seen around lightly forested fields and Eidda grasslands. A popular choice for starting pokemon, if a trainer can handle their attitudes. I find them to be a bit insufferable. This one has no special attributes, but seems to have inherited an egg move from a parent.
The process would repeat for everyone present as they registered and turned on the devices. Aipom, the long tail pokemon. A mischievous pokemon that lives in the jungles around the more tropical regions of Eidda. Quick witted and troublesome, they like playing pranks on people and pokemon alike making them little more than a nuisance sometimes. One ran off with some important research data once. Have still yet to find it. Riolu, the Emanation pokemon. Found in caves and spartan mountains, the diminutive pokemon has a special ability to read and see emotions. Often found training to better themselves and oftentimes challenging pokemon much stronger than themselves. A favorite of trainers with steadfast principles and a loyal pokemon through and through. They’re kind of annoying, in my opinion. Eevee, the evolution pokemon. A peculiar pokemon with an unstable genetic code. Their surprisingly dense, yet fluffy fur protects them even from the harshest environments and they can be found across Eidda in unexpected places, though fields tend to be the most common sightings of these timid pokemon. I’m a fan of Glaceon myself. Ralts, the Feeling Pokemon. A timid pokemon that can sense people's emotions, often hiding if it senses negative feelings. They are particularly difficult to find because of it, and its said only those pure of mind and heart can find them easily. They are often found deep within the forests on Eidda’s eastern coast where many similar pokemon also gather. I’d ask if I can hug it, but Ralts tend to avoid me. Noibat, the Sound Wave pokemon. A pokemon often found within caves alongside other cave dwelling species such as Zubat and Woobats. Has fine control over the sound waves it emits, which it uses as a form of echolocation to hunt and scavenge for its favorite berries. Apples tend to be a favorite of its, especially those that Applin also tends to live in. Keep that noise creature out of my research lab, thanks. Zorua, the Tricky Fox pokemon. A pokemon that has the ability to naturally make and form illusions using a mix of special reflective properties of its fur and latent psychic ability. Tyrunt, the Roal Heir pokemon. A pokemon that was common in ancient times, revived with modern technology. You’re all free to go from here.” Camphor yawned, passing an empty coffee mug to Frieda and completely ignoring any protests Camilia might be having. “Feel free to hang around the lab, I guess. Just don’t bother me or go into restricted areas. I’ll be in the observation area if anyone has any more questions. Frieda, go give those other three the pokedex will you?” “Y-you really should do it yourself professor…” “Don’t wanna. I’d ask everyone stay out of the habitat for now though. We’ll be moving some more pokemon in here in a little bit.” “U-Uhm,. Well, as long as no one has anything else…you can follow me to the reception area.” Well, that was that. Everyone had everything they needed now. Five pokeballs each, some more cash, and a new partner pokemon for some of you…so…what would you all do, then?
1.This was Camphor’s lab. Perhaps she or Frieda can point you in a specific direction if you’re looking for something. 2.The contest hall is currently holding a master-rank championship contest. Perhaps you could inquire how you could participate yourself. 3.The resort area is famous for its well, resort. Sandy, sunny beaches, amusement park, Casino…and gym. Its often considered the toughest gym in the region. 4.You can get to Route 1, Route 2, and Route 25 from Byjerlfal. Neither of the three routes are particularly dangerous. Frieda mentioned a cave system on Route 2. 5.Perhaps there could be something interesting in the Commercial district or the Industrial district.
