[@AtomicEmperor] This seems interesting. What would the setting for this actually look like? The premise seems like a mix of fantasy and sci-fi, with the mechs and the magic and the cults, so does the setting lean more towards one or the other? It is futuristic, medieval or modern?
This is a good question as that's meant to be ambiguous. Overall, it leans more Science Fiction, as the majority of what you'll be seeing will be presented through that lens. Magic and fantasy elements are included I consider magic to simply be math we can't solve without a connection to divinity. Ultimately meaning a wizard on some backwater world has just as much opportunity to move from one planet to another as an individual who owns a FTL capable ship. If I had things 100% my way, the coven would exist on a vessel that travels through the highlighted sector of space we'll be using as our sandbox. That said, I'm not opposed to having multiple groups based on what sort of choices people want to make as they join. If enough people want it more like fantasy knights in space, I can parallel that with a different group who maybe wanted to go for more hardline scifi. There's setting precedent for both.
