[@Fish of Oblivion] After the invasion by the armies of the Seven Great Demon Lords, Demon Digimon tend to get a bad rap, though this isn't the case everywhere. One region in particular is extremely hostile towards Demon Digimon, but we won't get there for a while. Otherwise it tends to fluctuate. Some Digimon understand that not all Demon Digimon agreed or allied with the Demon Lords, while others take a firm "we-don't-serve-your-kind-here" stance.

I believe it would be okay if they've attained Champion level, but for one reason or another (such as being defeated in battle and their data bring taken away) they've reverted to Rookie.
