It was a calm dictation that he listened to through his earbuds, Thierry's own voice. He listened to himself explain a few key points, as well as flipped through his own scribbled notes. Some of the symbols seemed off. Weirdly placed, some even broken as if trying to form new words. He listened to himself carefully, only rarely glancing up from his work. A few times he did find himself wanting to tell the bus driver to turn the radio down, but opted to turn his earbud up instead, by placing the second one in as well. If only so the babies didn't have to sit in silence. He didn't feel it fair to make them any more bored than they probably already were and especially not the true baby of the trio, Cosy. After some discussions with Sabrina and much deliberating with higher-ups on the matter, he'd reluctantly agreed to bring the children on this particular trip. It was summertime again and like clockwork, the little ones weren't in school for the next eight weeks. It would be a learning oppertunity of how The Louvre operated on the field for Theo, much to Thierry's stern disapproval, a picturesque place for Auri, and much needed family time for Cosy... if not all three of them and Sabrina as well. Little did he know that this very assignment, this moment in time, this decision... was the start of a 7 year long battle with HiveMind. A company that at this very moment in time, was scheming against his very life. For vengeance by a company he didn't even know existed yet, for things The Louvre did that he had no personal part of. He hadn't heard Sabrina as she spoke to him, but she'd caught his attention as he glanced from his notes regardless, "Look at this one,"He started and pointed, "Looks more like a warning and less of a tribute to a loved one. I'm beginning to wonder..." he lowered his voice as he glanced back into the rear view mirror, "If this is a tomb of a loved one or a trap designed to keep something in. And if you look at this over here..." Just as Thierry started to point at a particular set of symbols, Cosy had snuggled up to the woman in his life, not of, "Momma, when will we get there?" He hushed himself with a quick glance up in the rear view mirror again. The bus came to a stop. Were they there already? Thierry had been so preoccupied with his work, that he hadn't realized it was time to start packing up his notes. He started to hastily shove things about then stood after seeing how close the pyramid was. The bus driver spoke up, "We're here, boss. Grab your things, there's another staff member waiting for you at the entrance." "Merci beaucoup." Thierry chimed as he started to walk off the bus, bag strapped over his shoulder. He tipped the driver several gold coins and then turned to face his children and wife, "We're walking the rest of the way, but it isn't far."
